Hypno-monocle not working?

I've been wearing the Hypno-monocle and have been hexed like four of five times. Is it not working this year?
It doesn't have a 100% success rate, it just protects you to a pretty good point. Between it and a... sage necklace, I forget the exact name of it (watch that be the name of it), you get a better chance of not getting hexed. They stack.
This, and the other similar Morostide items, are all working. We get these questions every year, and I still double-check every year just in case, but there is just some luck and chance involved. If it doesn't seem to be working well for you, you've just been getting unlucky, sorry D:
