I don't know if anyone else is having this problem with this item or another item, but my is really glitched or something.

When I open the wardrobe, go to items, and choose the neck layer, I have two of them on the first page. If I go to page 2, there is another one there, listed first. If I go back to page 1, there is now one listed first on that page in addition to the two that were already there. If I go back to page 2, there are now two in a row, going back to the first page does the same thing. Going to page 2 again, there are now three of them in a row, and going back to the first page does the same, and so on. If I keep flipping back and forth between pages, they keep duplicating, and the ones in the first row seem anchored across all 12 pages, so on page 12 I'm still seeing like 5 of these

Programmers feel free to access my account's wardrobe to see if this happens for you, I can try to provide screenshots or whatever else is necessary if needed.

edit 2: Made a screenshot anyway, sorry it's a bit cluttered and cobbled together, was trying to conserve space.

edit 3: New discovery, this is happening with any item that accidentally shows up twice in the wardrobe. For example in my shoe layer, I have 2 and the exact same process duplicates them.

Also, I'm not sure why I have multiples of these items to begin with. :(

edit 4: The duplicate items are now following me to other layers. My duplicated from chest is now showing in the foot layer.

I have the same problem with my (which I have 2 of at the start), but when I switch to a new layer, nothing except the 'following' item shows. That's when I've selected to show only owned items--I can only see other items in that layer if I ask it to show me everything in that layer, but the 'following' item is still there.

i think this was along the same lines as luck's butterfly collar situation?

i don't know what exactly triggered it, but i was in the hat layer (mistyped qa, deleted, then searched argo) and then moved back to the main layer to search argo again, and then i had two at the front of the item list

this resolved itself (?) when i went to the base tab to put my arms and shoulders back on, and then went back to the item tab

Yep, happening with me too. I think this has been going on for a while I just semi-forgot about it until brought it up to me the other night and then after thinking about it I remembered Stray Spider Web

I don't know if this is the exact same issue, so hope it's ok to post here. I currently have the duplicated in wardrobe. I'm not sure how that happened as you can only have one of each item in the wardrobe....I hope I don't end up with any more! It also shows up as "2 in wardrobe" when I account search. I'm using Firefox on Windows 10.

Edit: Today I have 7 (!) Red Eye Head Bows in the wardrobe. It still shows 2 in account search. Edit2: I ended up with like 18 of them showing when I was making an outfit earlier...and they show up in every section!

idk why i didn't think to try this earlier but i kept running into the duplicate every time i went to page 6 for the head layer (and then they'd... follow me around through the other layers until i went to a non-item tab)

anyway i just account searched the item, and it said i had two in wardrobe. and so i removed one, and the extra was deleted? only one went to the inventory, and i put it right back into my wardrobe. everything is behaving correctly now; account search says one in wardrobe, wardrobe only shows one on page 6, etc etc

1. I'm seeing multiple copies (of the Red Eye Head Bow) in both "owned items" and "all items"
2. It persists when refreshing the page.
3. It always shows 2 in wardrobe under account search regardless of how many copies actually show up when searching in the wardrobe itself.
4. Right now I'm showing 5 copies in wardrobe; I can only put on one, when I click another one it takes it off. However, whichever one I click on there are two that are highlighted like they are both on... Here's a screenshot:

Does this persist even when you refresh the page? the two copies on page 6 persisted, but any additional copies (the ones that would show up in the middle of the row or at the beginning like in everyone's screenshots) were removed if i refreshed or moved to a different wardrobe tab (base, etc) and went back

3. When you account search the item, is it always the case that you somehow have 2 or more copies of it in your wardrobe? If you have multiples, does it match the number that show up in the search results? there were two copies in the wardrobe and two copies showed up with account search prior to the issue resolving

1. Yes and no. If I go to the page of my owned items that has a duplicate item, and then view all items, it still shows as duplicate and this process in the OP starts. But if I go to all items first, and go to a page that had a duplicate on it, it doesn't seem to be there.

2. Yes, but the additional copies (anything over two) vanish, but the initial two remain, and through flipping through pages allows them to start duplicating again (such as in the OP).

   HOWEVER!!!!! I want to note that if I click "Remove one" The "two" copies turn into one item and I now only have one item in my inventory and none in my wardrobe. NOTE: because I have just done this and removed the butterfly, I no longer have two in the wardrobe and will not be able to reference the multi butterflies again. But I have other multi copies in the wardrobe for later testing.

4. Clicking on one selects both copies simultaneously. However, if I flip back and forth between pages to create several, for example four, I lose the ability to be able to see that it's selected on my avatar. Clicking on one makes it appear on my avatar but the blue underline that indicates being worn doesn't show up on any of the items.

I'm going to be honest and say that my computer mouse was extremely messed up and a single click of it would always click multiple times on something, even the scroll wheel when I tried to click with the wheel to open something in a new tab it began opening multiple tabs. It is very possible that my messed up mouse multi-clicked when adding something to the wardrobe and allowed two copies to go in. I have since replaced my computer mouse and don't have that problem so I wouldn't be able to replicate that.

Subeta info: I've checked and noticed that I actually somehow have two of those dolls in my wardrobe. I don't know if that's effecting this.

1. Does this only happen when you only show items you own? The duplicating only happens while looking at my owned items, however they stay on the list while viewing all items. They begin to dupe again on my owned list.
2. Does this persist even when you refresh the page? After refreshing the dupes do go away but duping still happens as I browse.
3. When you account search the item, is it always the case that you somehow have 2 or more copies of it in your wardrobe? If you have multiples, does it match the number that show up in the search results? Account search says I have two copies in my wardrobe. Two copies that aren't the dupes appear on my list.
4. When you select the item to put it on your avatar, does it select all copies of it or just the one you clicked? Can you put multiple on your avatar at once? Both copies are highlighted, I cannot put both on. The dupes in the top left can be clicked and put on but they highlight the main ones on the list. Like this.

That looks like it was the issue for me! 2 in wardrobe, removed it, and it became only 1 in my inventory. Thanks!
