Ive never been like TERRIBLY active here and since the name change and how some people exclusively want Legacy names, I figure they are better off with someone else!
Inhale and Exhale are both Legacy names. I would prefer them to be adopted together. My story for them was that they were in love, but you can do whatever you want with them. They have beautiful colorations already. https://subeta.net/petinfo.php?petid=3457989 https://subeta.net/petinfo.php?petid=3457789
I guess just let me know what ideas you have and whatever else you'd wanna say? Ive never done an adoption here before, so.. sorry for the cluelessness.

Wonderful names ❤ Wish I had the space for both!
Pinging & for you!
Sorry for the delay; I had to figure out if I actually had room for these two lovelies or not. It occurred to me tonight that they work really well for the characters I have in mind, so I will make room if I need to.
First, it wasn't their names but their birthdays that caught my eye. By design, almost all my pets have October birthdays. It's my favorite month, and it's a restriction that's supposed to keep me from adopting too many pets (although it doesn't always work out that way). October is my favorite month because I like autumn but more importantly because my birthday occurs in this month - specifically, on October 7.
I've been slowly rebuilding my pets' fantasy world since the non-legacy name update caused me to need to restructure. I've decided that certain years mean certain things. 2010-2012 (especially 2011) have to do with The Library; 2017-2018 are pets who live in Alltumn, which is an idyllic place and most will be harvest; 2020 are pets who live in Iarkii, which is a big city and most will be spectrum/blacklight. 2013 are my pirates. The one that is most important to this application is 2014 - my "myths and legends".
I call 2014 my myths and legends because they're mostly "long ago" stories relating to the elements or creation. For example, Arco Iris's story is how the rainbow came to be in the sky. Eladanta is an ancient artist who created the painted desert. Most of these are stories that I've had rolling around in my head for a long time and that have stuck with me through many different pet-fantasy-world iterations. These stories are considered myths even in my pets' fantasy world, although they exist as stories in The Library just the same.
One of these myths is about the creation of the world. The world, as the myth says, was created by two star sisters. These sisters were so close, they were basically one being - one breathed in, and the other breathed out; one wanted something, and the other reached out to get it. They traveled the galaxy together, never lonely - because they had each other for company - but sometimes bored. One day, after millions and billions of years of travel, they decided to settle down somewhere: they would build a world of their own and watch over it forever.
Thus the star sisters created the planet that most of my pets live on. They gathered the earth together, each taking one hemisphere to create mountains and oceans, deserts and islands, each as they desired, and they filled it with water and plants and little seeds of intelligent life that they could watch over as they grew and evolved. When they were satisfied with their work, they sat back and admired what they had done. But the world was like a picture, or a movie that someone had paused before the opening scene. It would not go until it had a heart to give it life.
So the star sisters gave it their heart. Each sister took a half of her heart, and they buried them deep in the earth at the northernmost pole. The two halves reached the core of the planet and intertwined into a fire that would burn steadily forever, igniting life. The movie had begun.
Originally the sisters were to take care of the planet equally, and there was peace in the beginning. Each would take turns being up and governing the planet through the sky, providing light and warmth to their creation while they were awake and letting it rest in darkness half the time. But something went wrong. It's not easy to pinpoint where exactly this happened. Perhaps it started when one sister critiqued the other sister's creation work a little too harshly. Perhaps it began when more interesting intelligent life occupied one sister's hemisphere more than the other's. No matter what the reason, the small resentment broiled into a tremendous war, and the sisters fought, and one lost. The one who lost retreated, fled, wounded and greatly diminished. The sisters never spoke again, never breathed in rhythm again, never interacted with their creation again. The one who "won" realized too late what she had done, and she chased after her sister. But the wounded one continued to run, to keep a whole world between them. And so wherever the brighter one went, it was day, and wherever the darker one was, it was night. Eventually the life they gave birth to forgot them except in stories and legends.
When I first created this story, the characters were named Aine and Grian after Irish goddesses. I may use those names again, but I like the names Inhale and Exhale even as legacy names because I think they comment on the closeness of the star sisters and make it all the more poignant that they quarrelled so irreparably. If chosen to adopt, Aine/Exhale would be the sun - the sister who remained strong and bright after the fight and who governed the world during the day. I would change her into a reborn yaherra, because I think the benevolent look of the yaherra fits more my ideas. Grian/Inhale would be the moon, and until there comes a galactic yaherra, she will most likely be an angelic yaherra.
I don't have a lot of time nowadays for writing stories as I really would like to. I spend most of my time on here doing training and reading to my pets. You can see my goal tracker on my profile from the last three months. I will treat Inhale and Exhale like all the rest, reading to them and buffing them up. However, I hope to some day have the time and energy to make profiles and actually write the stories that I think up, especially for my 2014 group, for whom their stories are the most important.
Thanks for considering me, and good luck with your adoption! :)
Thank you, Haku!
