Would be amazing if we could get push notification, for things we "subscribe" to. Many webpages offer "notifications" via browser, so it's not a big deal (I think).

For example, sometimes I think that I visited the Bathhouse, which I didn't and all my days I visited are gone for good. I was never able to visit it for a whole year.

Somewhat unrelated, when we got events, ages ago, the browser would update with a (1) or (2), like how Twitter does when a new tweet is on the TL. I think it would also turn red.

That was really cool, I wonder if that uses the same concept as a push notification. I bet you APIs are involved somewhere.

If I remember right, didn't alerts used to update in real time rather than on refreshes? In fact, I'm sure I remember the tab icon having a notification badge whenever there were alerts. What happened to that?
