During Morostide we send our pets into the pumpkin patch

What if for Vesnali instead of random floating flowers we are able to send our pets into a field of wildflowers they could come back with several flowers there could be a time limit for when they can go back for more could be located at Peka Park could have little surprises like a minion fallowing you...

That'd be cute! I'd love to be picking random wild flowers.

Or it could be a daily in spring.

But I do agree a mechanism like this for the floating flowers would be a good way to set it apart from the other floating objects holidays.

That would be a good idea for the gardens revamp, an additional activity to do.

If you're saying that we should have wildflower fields instead of floating flowers, I'm not a big fan.

Floating flowers are easy peasy, and every year I'm practically buried in them, whereas I often forget to return to the Pumpkin Patch (even if I have the event reminder set). I don't think I'd want another Pumpkin Patch-esque thing.

Just because we have two holidays where the core is floating items, doesn't mean they're "samey". It's what you do with the floating items that's vastly different.

It really would be better as a year-long addition to the garden revamp, rather than tacking it to Vesnali.

I love the idea of a flower field as a year-round addition, or even a separate seasonal thing, but not as a replacement for floating flowers. Floating item events encourage users to explore the site and click around more, or at the very least just sit there and refresh, which is good for the site’s revenue. A pumpkin patch-type thing just becomes another daily, something to set a timer for and come back to a few times a day. If there were a flower field too I’d be all over it though—TC fodder!

I think they are trying to phase out floating items, and it would solve the problem of not doing the Bird Watching for 2 years in a row because "it interferes too much with the floating flowers and we don't want to do it before Vesnali or wait until after for some reason" (yeah, I'm kind of salty about that because starting the Bird Watching in March when Spring actually starts would be an easier solution). But I'd prefer it if it was only for flowers and not other kinds of items so it wouldn't be a complete copy of the Pumpkin Patch.

If it was a permanent feature, I would say that maybe it would only give out Vesnali flowers during Vesnali, and Survival flowers during Survival, and then the rest of the year give out other flowers that will have some other use. Or I guess it could have a rare chance of giving out holiday flowers outside of the holidays, it would be useful for people trying to get the "Lay flowers at the Memorial" achievement.

I do not use the code to identify floaters, because I find the easter-egg-hunt style game of finding them to be very fun. I would not like to see this feature go or be reduced.

The Centropolis Garden Project already exists.

Past experience with the Vesnali Flowers is if they get too common or cheap, users complain. Changing this now to add in a flower field would be snow fairies all over again. If more flowers need to go out, they can be added to quests or some other daily without using limited staff time.

I actually really love this idea. <3 It would be fun either as a standard holiday thing, or used during some kind of spring or summer event. You/your pet could bring home flowers, birds, bugs, and other treasured discovers in the meadow.

The thing is that we already have an activity to find bugs and birds, so my fear is that the rewards will be redundant with the items gotten from bug catching and bird watching (IF IT EVER COMES BACK)

Just brainstorming items that might be found in a meadow! Bugs and birds need not be cannibalized from the bug catching/bird watching activities, they could be new or just CIs for wearable items, like many of the pumpkin patch items.

At first I wasn't too enthusiastic about this idea, but the more I think about it, the more I like it.

I would really like it if certain flowers appeared in certain areas (a pond/watery area, for example where lotus flowers were more common). That way if you are searching for a specific flower for a bouquet, TC or gallery, you would have a higher chance to find the exact flower you need. With 340ish flowers, it would be very helpful to narrow down the options a bit.

I love this idea! I agree to making it like Spring only type thing (like the pumpkin patch being a morostide/October only type deal.)
