This is Enid. I just adopted her from the pound (named Gnawty lolol). I'm going to remake her as a character I used to have and really want back. She's a nerdy girl who loves science, math, robotics, etc.

I was going to get one of these... ...but they're a little pricey and I want to save some money for her treasure so I'm hoping to find a cheaper option that will be perfect. Any ideas?

What do you guys think about this, that could 'sit on her desk' while she does the science? lol

You could go for one of the UFOs.

This lava lamp is cool, but it's expensive unless you have steamworks trinkets.

Or maybe something from an experiment? Some of these are expensive, but not all. (The Freaking Rock always gets me, not gonna lie.)

Of the ones in your post, I like the robo blob kitty. I think the fish would be okay but would not really add much to the character, unless you wrote it into her story creatively.

Also, I like your overlay! It's subtle, but cute!

Also, you could try checking Book Nook or Bits and Bytes to see if anything there might catch your eye. A few impulse buys from the official shops helped me get some good affordable items for my TCs.
