My pet Meilo is a T11, but I obviously don't have a good enough set to get a win on Rita. Any advice?

I am not high tier enough to help you and this info is 4 year old, but I hope it helps.

- If you can get your hands on a Chancellor's War Shield or Mirroring Shield of Brilliance she's done for.

- lol, I suppose. They're modded, but only with one battle shop available mod each. Do you have either a dark blocker or a light blocker? The shields block phys and either dark or light, Rita deals mostly phys dark and light, so if you have an infinite blocker that would block the missing icon, it'll go even better. I can give you whichever shield complements what you have. If you don't have either, I recommended Hydragellos Lost Tooth as a relatively cheap light blocker, Large gutting knife is pretty inexpensive too and also offers some heal.

If you are T11, you should really start thinking about upgrading your weapons set from those lower tier weapons. Prodigy's Eyeball is a nice one for a low price tag, Plague claw is a super cheap T10 that while is not the greatest, is well worth the less than 500k price tag. Swashbuckle is also still buyable and a really good T11 weapon.

I have a Gelatin Slayer.. is that a good option?

- Yeah, that'll work. Pair that with the Mirroring Shield of Brilliance and your aftershocks scroll and she'll have trouble dealing any damage to you. Since the shield has no attack, and she does block a fair amount of phys and light, it'll be a long battle, but you should be able to beat her. Do you have a recycle blaster? I recommend putting that in your set to take away one of her weapons. If you are still struggling to damage her, try equipping dark magma potions, she doesn't block magma at all.

Trade Lot Here's the shield for you. I had it modded with a freezing baguette, if you could send one back with it that would be appreciated. (also, recommend putting one on yourself, since Rita is freezable, that will help you damage her more, if she's frozen, don't use the shield, use one of your other attackers, RoE is a good choice to have an extra freeze chance)

Here's what I would suggest:

Freeze + Shield + Aftershocks on the first turn, Ultima Tag + Recycle blaster + Whirlpool on the second turn, if you get the freeze go for Rapier of Error and Gelatin Slayer and Whirlpool, if not, Shield + Gelatin Slayer whirlpool, repeat. Then Gelatin Slayer + Shield + aftershocks, (RoE when frozen, if you use freezing mods) Heal with Pquill and GotF as needed.
8th item in your set could be another healer if you want, Soma Tablets/Blackmoon Hand Blaster/stealer to take out another one of her weapons, or a bomb to use when she's frozen for more damage.

- Scaling weapons like the Prodigy staff and Minotaur knocker are decent enough for BQs, but for higher level opponents you'll want to start building up an armory with weapons that are also full blockers, Swashbuckle and Prodigy Eyeball that I mentioned before block wind and water respectively. Plague claw blocks some physical, but not a ton. Ideally you'll want a blocker for every icon type eventually, but that will take some time (and SP).
Definitely would recommend trying to get the components to build the Intricate Energized Helmet as a freezer (genetech combo build up from the basic blaster you get for beating aboxalypse and components from the battle shop). It's more useful than the gatekeeper collar, it gives you an anti-freeze blessing, it's great against General Error. I would pick up a Reviver of the Lion and Soma Tablets from the antique shop, those are pretty classic staples. Also could build up that scroll set a bit, Psycho Smasher and Shriek of Despair are very useful OPB high chance freezing scrolls. But you should be able to earn a psycho smasher by beating General Error 10 times, and hopefully we'll get the morostide opponents shortly here, and hopefully Nightlady will still be dropping Shriek of Despair scrolls again, so you can try to get those for 'free'.

- Yeah, battling gets pricey at higher tiers, but it's a worthwhile investment. Would definitely recommend picking up the Plague Claw, it's pretty good for it's low price tag, and the phys block should help with some of the Moro opponents.
