Not all quests give item rewards. Maleria and Cynthia don't currently give item rewards unless they're the weekend special quest, when they give their special quest rewards. The rest (besides Saggitarius and Sarah, and the Wizard if you don't count tokens) do give item rewards, though.

Thanks for clearing that up. I figured I might have been missing something obvious. Perhaps the last time I quested with them it was only for the weekend quests. Thanks again.
