Hello! I am looking for some advice and help for how to stock and upkeep my shop. Is there a way to price many items at once? How should I price my items? What are categories used for? Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Categories I personally use more for organizing galleries than shops, but some people like to use them in shops just for the sake of organization (keeping CWs in a separate category, for instance, or expensive items that they might also be willing to trade, etc.)

The autopricer is a Gold Account feature that can be used to auto-price your entire shop at once. Super handy. :)

As far as tips for pricing, user shops aren't as fast-paced as you may be used to if you play on, say, Neopets. Most people stick with trying to match or beat the lowest usershop price, in my experience.

I used to keep shop in Neopets and I disagree entirely with . The Neopets economy is locked into place like a black market in a communist country and sales there go slowly, much slower than here. Here on Subeta you can quicksale anything, and you can advertise in the Advertising Forum. Doing this does sometimes require you to hand-price those things you want to quicksale

And the thing that is going on in Neopets right now to clear out items? That's not a once-a-ear thing in Subeta. Items that you can't or do not want to sell can be used in Item Drive, Recycle Beast, Pawn Shop, Donation Center and Fragmentizer. None of these things go slowly and require glitchy processing time like happens in neopets and you can do lots of items at once, not just fifteen. So nobody has to keep slow selling or HTS items around at all.

Here on Subeta you can have up to six shops with a GA (four otherwise), which means sometimes you don't even have to use categories, just make each shop sell certain things. I have a shop that sells only holiday items, another that sells common restockables, one that sells retired items etc.

hey friend!

I'm no expert but this is the way I've been doing: I put everything on the shop, check the unpriced items, and then I go one by one hovering the mose on the item and checking the most recent price. I always copy and paste this price because it's easier haha. I do this at the end of every day, having finished quests and what not. I know it sounds like too much work, but the copying makes it actually fast. And honestly I don't change the price anymore after it, I just let them there and wait.

I stand corrected! I haven't played in a decade or more. Items used to sell very quickly back then, even when priced above lowest.

ABSOLUTELY! One of many reasons why I quit and didn't return. xD I tend to forget just how long it's been, though. Time flies.
