I just got my first discount card and went to look at the discount card savings page, but it's telling me I've somehow saved 53m sP.
Is it somehow just extremely broken? Is it including the discount buff, and if so... why? Can these two savings methods be separated? I was hoping to see how long it would take me to save the cost of the card, but that's impossible this way. Being able to see both amounts would be pretty neat, though.
This seems like a bug to me, but I'm okay for it to be moved to suggestions if it's deemed to be supposed to work this way.

If you bought it from another user, then it shows their savings. I had the same issue with the one I bought.

Not a problem. I asked a while back about fixing it but I know that it is low priority to things that make the site unusable. This is just annoying xD

Mm, agreed. I wouldn't expect it to get fixed anytime soon, but it'd be nice if it eventually got fixed. At least I can assume that anything it counts from this point forward will be correct. c:

Hm... I looked through the code and I can't find anything doing what described. Maybe that was actually fixed at some point? At the moment the code just goes by user ID, so it's not connected to what item you use.
However it does look like it's counting all savings, not just discounts from the card. Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to retroactively separate these two counts. I could tweak this code to only count discount card savings moving forward, but then I'm not sure what to do about existing counts. Maybe just give everyone a button to clear that number if they want it to be accurate moving forward?

if you can finagel a reset button that would be great. I only say that it seems to carry over because it had a number in the 3 digit millions even before I used it once. And I know people who bought them fresh and not from another user and theirs was clear.

I'd personally be grateful for a (difficult to click so people don't make mistakes) button to reset my progress as 53m is a very large number to start off with.
Totally understand not being able to retroactively separate savings methods, if that is the cause of this issue.

There also used to be (?) a problem, that the discount card would register things like the free shop, so if you were lucky getting REALLY expensive items from there, it had a huge effect on the discount amount displayed.
