I've just come back after a long hiatus and just seen the new changes to pet names. I love it and am super excited to get started on my pets again; back when it was still unique names I held onto pets for when inspiration struck, often times stagnating and never really getting inspired but too worried about losing my chance to adopt out the name, so it's really nice to no longer worry about that!

As such I have a few legacy names I no longer feel the need to hang onto. I'll probably just rename and reuse these pets if no one wants them, but I understand some people may enjoy their legacy name status/birthday/ID/etc so I want to offer them up first. I'm not fussy about what you plan to do with them, but feel free to tell me why you want one on the off chance more than one person wants a particular pet.

All TC, profile coding, minions, etc will be emptied before I send out.

I'm interested in adopting any pet with the birthday March 2019: 21[sup]st[/sup] or 22[sup]nd[/sup], name, gender, species, color, etc don't matter. I'm happy to talk about my plans if anyone wants that, but I figure most people clicked in for the pets I'm adopting out lol. Feel free to check out Sharks, Tegan and Sara, Apiology, and Ripley (the last two are still a wip) for examples of my pets or ask anything.

I'd like to apply for Seriously! But I just spent all day doing physical labor and I'm gonna do the same tomorrow. I am so tired right now. I will try to come back tomorrow night to give her the app she deserves. :)

Hi there, I would love to adopt Primate. As you can see from my pets, I have a love for primates (I study primates in my real life!). I own (and created) the legacy names for Ape, Bonobo, Chimpanzee and Uakari. Primate would fit perfectly into my little primate family. However, I'm not very active with my pets (although I enjoy training Va and Chimpanzee, and have been working on Anteater's TC). I still love my pets a lot though. He could be my gorilla of the group <3 I completely understand if you're looking for someone a bit more active with their pets, but I couldn't help reacting for such a great name. And I certainly love primates a lot!

No pressure, I don't mind just sending her over! I'd likely rename her for the character I'm currently using her for anyway so I'm happy to send her to someone who will enjoy the legacy name. (I love knowing people's plans just out of curiosity/I love hearing about people's pet plans, but don't feel rushed or pressured to tell me about it!)

Thank you for the offer! I just wanted to let you know though that I might not keep her legacy name very long, because those don't matter to me for the most part. Although I may use her legacy name as inspiration for her character.

What I really like is her birthday. Since the non-unique name change, I decided that all my pets would have only October birthdays. They also have themed years/groups - for example, 2014 is all myths/legends, and 2010 is all yaherras (with a couple of important exceptions). I haven't come up with a theme for 2017 yet but I've amassed quite a few thus far. I already have an October 4th 2017 birthday, so if I got Seriously as well, I'd try to actively seek out a 3rd and a 5th so that I'd have a "set" of four in a row and then do some sort of close-knit story with them within their thematic year.

I haven't been working much on stories (except in my head) lately because of RL, but I have been actively reading to and training my pets, and I'd make sure Seriously caught up quickly.

If that's all amenable to you, I'd still love to adopt her! It looks like we're still friends from when I adopted Carnations out to you. :)

I'm really trying super hard to limit my pets to only those born in October, because otherwise that's opening up a can of worms [sub]and I'm not very good with self control[/sub].

However, the name and the birthdate actually do have a big significance for me, because both my grandparents on my mother's side were born on that date, and I used to put carnations on their gravesite when I lived near it. Which is a kinda strange coincidence when you realize that I neither named nor created that pet.

So I'd be happy to take her back as well if you've lost inspiration. I can try to figure out a way to get her to fit into my plans, and if it doesn't work out I'll just try adopting her out again. I do have one other pet with a non-October birthday who came from a different universe, so maybe I could do something similar with her. :)

[Edit]I just saw your edit about the pet with the Oct 1 2017 birthday. I may be interested if it doesn't work out for you! The reason I didn't mention it before is because earlier this weekend I applied for a pet with an Oct 1 birthday in a different year (2010), and I already have another Oct 1 birthday in another year (2011), and I'm trying not to have more than two of any given date, at least until I have one of every date. But there's no guarantee that the other adoption will go through, and I do like having dates in a row, so if it doesn't work out for you I'd be happy to give them a home as well!

Oh gosh, yes, I'd love for you to have carnations back if that's the case. Regardless of if you keep them or not if I'm ever inclined to go back and recreate a pet for that OC I'm not fussed about having the legacy name, so it makes sense for them to go back to you since the name AND birthday have meaning. I would love to apply for Melissai! I have a world called Perelandria in which a king with (somewhat) good intentions accidentally starts a war against the dragon isles that surround his kingdom. It is up to his daughter Abie to stop the war as her father is old and frail by this time. She's a princess knight basically but I've been looking for the right pet to serve as her love interest!

I would definitely keep the name as Melissa is super cute and definitely fantasy sounding~! She would be the daughter of a local pub owner who gets to know Abie through her frequenting of the pub and they eventually run away together when Abie sets off on her quest to the end the 50 year dragon war.

I love the fantasy element esp; the name Melissai is after a greek nymphs associated with bees and I was going to make her a bee tribute pet (I ended up using a diff pet tho) but always felt there was more interesting stuff that could be done with the name, it's so pretty even just on it's own! I'd really like to adopt Araignee! Honestly, I want her because she's a . I've got an idea for a story of a spider who doesn't want to eat bugs - she makes friends with them and protects them from other spiders. I've always thought the was cute too. I haven't named them (though now I kind of want to lol) but I have some carpenter bees that have made homes on the wooden support boards of my porch's roof and I love seeing them buzzing around, I totally get it~ shoot over a friend request any time and I'll send her over! :D
