Microsoft edge Version 84.0.522.63 (Official build) (64-bit) + Google Chrome Version 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit) (bug is showing on both) Windows 10 Home

I receive the message 'An error occurred on client' when selecting base or trying to add hair styles (see screenshot) and I'm seeing the broken image icon overlay on the base avatar images.
