If you start and don't complete a quest in the same day, the failed quest will count as a failed quest for the day you check. This ordinarily doesn't matter but when instances like a Quest-a-thon, you can enter the runnings 1 quest down for a quest you started weeks ago.

It would be great if quests would clear with the reset so you do not start the next day down a quest.

I posted this in suggestions since its more a functionality issue than a glitch and i'm not sure if it was intentional.

It doesn't even need to clear if thats a lot of stress on the server.

I feel like a simple check if the quest start date was not today....do not increase quest count.

Yep, this has existed for as long as I've been onsite. It really should have been coded to do this in the first place.

If possible, it would be good if they could do this. One time when the site was REALLY laggy, I accidentally started a Wizard quest without realising it because of the lag (and I thought you could only do one quest at a time and weren't able to start one from someone else), so then the next day I ended up losing 1 quest because of it.
