i want to practice making pet overlays and stuff! rn offering two different options-
Note: I have the right to adjust my prices however i see fit-- be aware that prices may rise in the future and that i might ask for more than the base price depending on the complexity of your request!
[box=#BBC7BA]Option 1 - Original Art Base Price: 2000 CSC / 200mil sP / $20 USD Examples:
Description: A custom, original work of art of your pet's character. 200x200 pixels, can have either a transparent or white background. Please be ready to give me a detailed description of the character you want if you don't have an image reference. The more thorough- the better!
Note: I am working very hard to train myself to draw more similarly to the Subeta art style. Because of this, original artworks will be somewhat "experimental". Despite this, they will be rendered as immaculately and detailed as I can manage. I'm new to drawing on small canvases, so this will be sort of a workout/experiment all around. Expect quality similar to the example(s)! [/box]
[box=#B5B8BC]Option 2 - Recolors/Minor Edits
Base Price: 500 - 1000 CSC / 50mil-100mil sP / $5-$10 USD
Examples:
Description: Like the way your pet looks now with that color you worked so hard to get? Want them to look a little bit different or closer to their original character design? This is the commission type for you. The price will be decided based off of how many "edits" I have to make and how easy/hard I think it will be to make such edits. Backgrounds will be white - I could possibly be bribed to make a background transparent if you really want but it is not the default option since it's a pain in the ass to remove the white background from most of the pet art on this site lol.
Example 1 - Reborn Tigrean: This type of edit would be priced on the higher side, as I had to sit and recolor every single stripe on the body for a good amount of time. This is more of a "major edit", whereas the crying eyes, snarling mouth, and general hue change edits are more "minor". A quote for an edit like this would be at least 800 CSC / 80mil sP / $8
Example 2 - Storm Magnus: This type of edit would be on the cheaper side, I was able to sit down and complete it without having much trouble. The edits on this image include: Resized fangs, Freckles added, Eye color changed, Main body color changed, Wing color changed, Expression adjusted. A quote for an edit like this would be around 600 CSC / 60mil sP / $6
Note: I am very new to editing subeta art but I will do my darnedest to make sure that it is the highest quality I can possibly render! I will be honest and admit that there are limitations to my editing abilities - for instance, I couldn't possibly have managed to delete the storm clouds/lightning from the Storm Magnus recolor without ruining the quality because of the way they slightly obscure the pet. I can definitely remove "potion effects" on a case by case basis, so feel free to ask and I'll let you know if I think I can pull it off. [/box]

Hey! I would love to take a CSC slot for Option 1 if possible! Due to my only having a description as opposed to a reference image, I'd be happy to up the price if you see fit.
The pet is Bowline, my pirate boy. He was transformed into a water spirit by a god who’s treasure he tried to steal. He is an angry boy — who does his job and guards the treasure. If possible, I would love a kind of defensive pose, and maybe a snarl or scowl by way of expression.
He is a Chinese dragon, with a long serpentine body and the head of a lion, though his ears are more canine — like [url=https://imgur.com/a/KYVd0qn]this and [url=https://imgur.com/a/FHnKp6g]this. He has big antlers, similar in shaper to this.
As for his coloring, I hope you don’t ming if I give you some hex codes! His main body is a smoky-green (7E9181) and his mane is a darker green, leaning black (2E3532). His mane begins at the top of his head, beneath his antlers, in a messy tuft, and follows his spine, ending at the base of his tail. He has a tuft at the end of his tail in the same color as his mane. His underbelly, antlers, and talons are a kind of blue grey (A0AAB2) — the underbelly coloring starts in a sort of ombre at the point where the chin and neck join and ends at the base of his tail. His eyes, though small, are a vivd — the most vivd thing about him, he looks kind of washed out, especially in the water — lilac (94849B).
His body is covered in a patchwork of scars. There is no rhyme or reason to them, they don’t follow a particular pattern or anything. No part if him is sparred from these marks. The color of these against his flesh is a periwinkle blue (C7CEDB). These marks are puckered are brutal, he’s pretty gnarly looking. I hope you don’t mind the creative license I’m hoisting upon you in not having a reference. Let me know if you need a more detailed description.

Quick question -- would you be wanting any actual color edits or just the add ons/removal of the blood from the bg? Also, do you just want the blood removed from the bg or removed from the pet entirely? This will most likely be the deciding factor of the price overall.

You're looking at a price of 2000 CSC - his design seems simple enough and I can visualize it well. You can send it to me now , if you want, Or after I send you the sketch for your approval. Just know that I don't do refunds once I actually start working on the art, so if you have any thoughts of possibly backing out , waiting to pay until the I make the sketch would be the best idea.

What I would probably do is incorporate site items into the pet -- it would probably mesh a lot better with the original art than if I drew those things on myself. Is this okay with you? Also, if it is -- let me know if there's specific items you had in mind, if not I have no problem looking for them myself :)

I would like an overlay of my darling 
. I would like for them to have a few bandages on them, preferably where the bloodred liquid is dripping from. I would like his red eye to remain red, but the green eye to be blue, and I would like an oversized blue bow on his head on top of their left ear. Any pose is fine, I am not picky, and you can literally do whatever you want aside from my specifications.
