I can't find this anywhere (sorry!) but had a question on subscriptions before I take the plunge:

  1. If you don't use/send out the Buddy Gold Account or the Custom Wearable Voucher(s) for the month, do they roll over or are they lost automatically?

For example: Save up buddy vouchers and give them away during Luminare. Save up the CSC and use in whatever month I want, etc. This is all assuming I keep an active subscription of course.

If I posted this in the wrong spot, I'm sorry about that. I didn't see anything in forums close to this. Please direct me to the correct spot and I won't post here any longer. Thank you :)

I'd like to know if you lose the Buddy GA and CW Voucher if you cancel your subscription without using them. I already used my CW voucher but I was thinking of cancelling and re-subscribing when the new bonus item comes out so I don't have to wait so long for the items each month if they're released around the same time, since some misinformation made me think I wouldn't have to wait like half the month for it when it turns out I do and I'm very impatient.

To be honest, it's almost like double dipping for those extra goodies by subscribing then canceling, then resubscribing just a couple weeks later (new month) when that hot one-time item is released. Probably not something they want use to abuse is how I am thinking of it. I get what you mean but I wouldn't want that kind of thing abused if I owned this site as it is unfair for other users because someone is gaming the system. Subscribing is coming across as it should be a monthly thing, not a 48 hour thing and then re-sign up weeks later sort of deal.

I could be looking at this wrong but that is how I interpreted it. Sorry.

I was only going to do it once, I didn't want to have to do it in the first place but I'm just so impatient about wanting the item not long after it's released instead of about 2 weeks.

I'm 99% sure what you're describing would be considered an abuse of the subscription system, to be honest.

I really don't mean it like that if I'm just doing it once and leaving it after that. It's because the staff initially told me the wrong information and if they'd been right the first time, I would have waited until this month's item. And I realised there might be a cool down time to discourage this. I just don't want to wait the rest of each month for the item and there's no point in buying or trading for it if I'm eventually going to get it anyway, I only wanted to choose a time of month that was more convenient for me and then leave it at that.

It might be a good idea to file a ticket about it (although that comes with its own wait time).

Not that I think you're double-dipping or doing something that could be thought as shady. I'm more concerned that what you want to do won't work the way you think it will.

Especially if you currently have a subscription, canceling it isn't going to make the gold account suddenly stop. If I understand correctly, it'll just be like any other subscription where it keeps going until it runs out.

So canceling and resubscribing will just mean tacking on more time to the end of your gold account and you still might not get the item at the time you want.

That's why I'd highly suggest conferring with staff first to see what would be the best way to proceed.

(And if it doesn't exist already, maybe make a suggestion post about the item being given at the beginning of the month (after the initial subscription) instead of on the anniversary of the subscription.)

Yes, I think I should probably ask someone about it to see if it's really a good idea or if I'm just too overcome with frustration and impatience from the misinformation that lead to this.

Also, I have the idea of maybe there being an sp sink if you want the item when it's released, but I don't know how easy that will be to code, especially if they make it available only for a few days like the Bonus Weekends used to be which is another idea I have.

So my next payment goes through 32 days later (it's probably meant to be 31 but then it happens the next day instead of the 31st day), I counted every 32 days on a calendar and found that it will eventually shift closer to the middle of the month, so maybe I should just leave it, cause if I were to change it, it would shift away from that time anyway. I just don't like waiting. When I want something, I want it right away.

Ah ok. I get what your saying. I am with Kniga on this, probably best to file a ticket and ask UA's about it. I don't want to give you wrong information. I know how frustrating it is when you get wrong info along the way :( Best of luck to you :)
