Every time I quickstock or remove items from shops/gallery I run the risk of losing items, and its near impossible to figure out what/how many and even if I've lost stuff at all.
This happens whenever a time out error occurs. I've tried limiting how many items I process at any one time, but its getting very frustrating. Today I pulled out some items to frag. A stack of 100 and one of 50. I ended up with a pile of 100 and 43. I don't really care about the 7 lost darkness shards and the crystals I could have earned with them. But when it happens again and again, it does start to add up. Not to mention the possibility of losing items if I get an error while fragging.
I do care about smaller amounts of more expensive items I may be losing. Realistically though, I can't check every item in my inventory before I quickstock, then check again if I get an error during the process - if that's the solution, then I may as well process each item individually and not quickstock at all. I'm here to play the game, not pretend to be an accountant who has to track every bit of minutia so I don't get ripped off.
This is an error that has been happening for a long time already.

I've only stumbled upon this topic today.
I agree, actually we should double check every single step we take :-( But that is impossible. I have been spending wayyyy too much time here all those years mostly because of site problems, anyway.
The site has been eating my items for a long time, esp. 504s do. Sometimes I notice and I actually have taken to verify if transferring larger amounts worked out correctly. Which of course is awkwardly time consuming. But I don't even want to know, how much I lost until I found out (2 years ago? some were very expensive ones), or what still goes amiss without noticing. I was told to stick to a 200 pieces/item maximum, when transferring, processing, etc. However, it does happen with smaller numbers as well, occasionally. I have filed a number of tickets and the issue has been under scrutiny, but they haven't found the solution yet.
I refuse to and am anxious of using the tool to transfer my legacy shop to vault because of that. I have hundreds, even thousands of some items in there and I can see a lot of them poofing :-(
I wouldn't be able to tell, if I lost anything through quickstocking, though. Because of the very resticted new shops I just ruch through quickstocking one after the other (hopefully) in the correct order. (mind you, I still ended up with far too many doubles in different shops :-( ) What annoys me is that quickstocking is mega slow. I need to wait almost a minute, till I can go to the next shop. One should think at this speed it would be fail proof :-(
Yeah, I've noticed cheap things going missing and just ignore it.
I did submit a ticket when I lost over 500 vesnali coins.
What bugs me the most is not having any idea what I may have lost. I run across things that I swear I owned, but no sign of them. Is it because I sold it, gifted it - my memory isn't all that good, or is it because I lost it when transferring items one way or another?
I've also lost items even when dealing with stacks of 50 or less than 100 items quickstocking. So limiting stuff (unless you get down to dealing with individual items) isn't a solution.
