Hello beautiful artists!
I am seeking someone to commission to create a reference sheet for a Telenine character, or at least an image I can use as a reference. He is the brother to my pet Werner, so will also be a Telenine. The difference is that this character, Johnathan, has different colors and a Steamwork leg!
I'm looking for someone who can draw a Telenine with these colors, and his rear left leg just like the Steamwork Telenine's. His back spines should match the fur on his back.
Accessories-wise, he has a brown cowboy hat, a short brown vest, and a sheriff's badge on his vest. He belongs to the same "universe" as my pets Churchill and Gizelle, as well.
I am willing to pay (in order of preference) USD, CSC, or sP.
Please reach out with some examples if you think you could help me out! :)
If all goes well and I find someone who can bring my vision to life, I would also extend the commission to draw reference sheets for a few other characters I have in mind as well! Paid, of course!
Thank you all so much for your time and consideration!
[sub] : is it bad for me to submit myself in for the running? haha I know I'm in the process of making something for you already but I'm currently (always) open for USD commissions. I can submit an actual sketch before being considered as well but I also understand wanting to branch out or being hesitant 'till I submit my other final piece for you. Cheers![/sub]
I want to see what other interest I get, but I will most definitely keep you in mind! :) are you comfortable drawings mechanics like would be on his leg? It’s hard finding people who are comfortable with robot type stuff- I’m not. Which is why I’m hesitant to do the reference myself lol
Hi !
I don't have a lot experience with reference sheets, but I just searched for examples and I think I can do it NP.
Also I love to draw animals, armors, weapons, gods an almost anything :3
Here's my art shop, you can check my prices, policy and my art there.
If you like what you see, please contact me. You can choose the style you want, like comic, manga, chibi, semi-realistic, etc. I'm very versatile and I would work really hard to make you a piece you'll love :3
[sub] : Ooh, I totally agree, I used to be super intimidated by large mech-like objects. But after drawing quite a bit of technical drawings of vehicles and small electronics taken apart in school I feel a lot more comfortable. I think the leg itself would be fun since it's not the whole animal that is mechanized, and the steamwork aesthetic is so pretty with the little embellishments and copper accenting.[/sub]
Could you give me a ballpark estimate of what you might charge for a reference? I wouldn't need it shaded, just clear enough to see the design, his leg, and pull colors from.
even if I don't snag you for the reference sheet, I'll still come to you for art <3 I love you style just so much!
[sub] : <3 always welcome there! i hope you find a great artist though for this character, the idea is so cute~[/sub]
at flat color: for each full body: 30 usd for each bust: 20usd for a headshot: 10usd Im not sure what you'd like the full ref to be made up of.
The first two examples were made a year ago or so. the last one was made this month. Been meaning to draw it up but Im drawing a lot of my own other characters XD
steamwork-ish example
robot-ish example

it's a little hard to determine style from the few examples you've provided (since you said two of these are old) and that I can see on your art shop. Do you have a Deviantart or other account where you might have more examples? Thanks!
I upload most of my things to instagram (deviantart i think is missing 2-3 of the uploads?) https://instagram.com/inavacl https://www.deviantart.com/neoixan/
If youd like i can do one full body sketch free and if you like we can go from there if you decide you like it
If you wanted just a single image no bg or shading would be $35 USD. Examples- ho!

Top-most example is the most indicative of actual line quality. Middle is old but is a dog, and lowest one was for funsies.
