I'm going through my saved avatars and resaving all of my base avatars, because all of my old avatars have had a "legacy style hair" layer added to them, even though <10 of them used salon hair.

I'm also taking the opportunity to remove base features I didn't use from them.

While doing this, I'm having a couple of weird problems.

1. I'm currently dressed up as this guy, who is Base 4. I usually use darker bases, specifically 7-10, several shades of blue, several shades of grey, and occasionally pure white.

Outfit Not Found

Several of my saved avatars are loading with the base 4 skin when tried on, even though they were saved in bases 7 and up.

2. The only characters for whom I typically use base eyes are Valiska (pictured below) and Pacifica.

I just tried to load a Valiska avatar who initially showed up in Base 4 instead of Base 8, and this happened after I fixed her base colour:

Her eyes are wrong. I had to click the right pair 5 times before they changed.

Can't blame this on my current avatar, as the base eye layer was deleted from him.

Is it still not working for you? If so, which browser? Have you tried another?

sorry for the confusion! My intent was to say it was old news and not a current problem?

Though it'd be nice to know who's speaking as mod/staff and not another user--the coloured usericon may or may not mean that someone's speaking as mod/staff. but no offence/rudeness intended! Anyhow I posted this in July and Reya asked me about it 3 weeks later :) by which time it had stopped happening to more avatars, and I had been told the only fix for the affected ones would be to redo them. IDK where i was told this, probs on the Discord by Keith maybe?

Anyhow, the avatars which were affected never came back right and I had to redo them, but no more avatars have been affected. TY!
