The saved outfits page now shows only 9 outfits and they're crammed together 4 to a line so the outfit names are on top of them. I now have 47 pages of outfits instead of 17.

If this is in any way related to the new "private outfits" thing, I promise I won't cry a single tear if you roll it back; IDK who asked for it, but it wasn't me :)

UPD8: Having 47 pages of outfits is one thing. I do have 417 saved. But when I click on page 47, it does not take me to my first saved outfit, which was saved sometime in 2017. It takes me to outfits I saved back in February. Therefore I am back to only being able to open outfits quickly from here:

and I'm really hoping but probably wrong that you don't intend to replace that page with this broken one. Also it now has a header that says " 's Public Outfits" and I liked it much better when it said "Your" because for five minutes I kept logging in and logging out, thinking that the page didn't work because my login cookie had expired and the page didn't know I was me.

My main "fun" computer does not have a very big screen -- it's a glorified netbook, a ThinkPad X100e -- so a lot of the changes to make the page smaller on bigger monitors mean that I either have to put negative zoom on my browser to see everything or stare at things crowded together or overlapping. I keep thinking maybe this new change would work if I had a bigger screen, but I can't make that happen tomorrow, this week or next month.

Better than what I had...

When they announced there was going to be a 500 avatar limit, I spent the better part of a weekend deleting avatars and saving them to my hard drive.

You have no idea how glad I am that I did that.

My outfits have gone out of order and some have even duplicated themselves across a few pages. In addition, a lot of my saved avatars that used hair salon styles have had random colors inserted or changed. But yeah, the 4 per line is super cramped.

Yes, what Luck said. Missing my earliest saved HAs. Have double and triple saves of other avatars that I definately did not save two or three times. Order after the first few pages is so messed up.

Right now, I can't seem to save an outfit. The wardrobe seems very broken right now. I can barely load it and it's barely functional.

(Purely as an aside, I'm slightly alarmed that so many people in the news comments never knew that your avatars have always been visible to the public.)

I might make my bases private, but only because you can toggle to private and that would be one way to avoid having to search through page after page after page to find them.

I found out about this last night when I tried to go in and resave all my bases because every base older than IDK how old has been given a legacy shop hair layer which causes a broken image for most of them because most of them don't use salon hair.

ETA: I'm now seeing 3 avatars per line, which is much better, and 35 pages instead of 47. But going to page 35 still takes me back to February of this year.

First - at the moment, the outfits page is loading nice and fast.

I paged through and, currently, on page 52 out of 76 are my earliest HAs:

The ones on pages 53-76 start about 1.5 years old and gradually get newer!

I don't see any broken images, and again it's now loading pretty fast.

As for people misunderstanding - there's a whole lot of things that no one gets about Subeta. It's been around so long, and people who've been playing ages and don't know about features that were maybe announced once, five years ago, and never mentioned or linked to, like the outfits page - that's perfectly understandable.

And some people, unlike me, never play around with things like oh, [ outfit={random number} ] to see what outfit shows up... heheh

It's definitely loading faster and better now, but the pagination is still weird for you too?

I know you're right about people not knowing things, I guess I'm mostly just shocked that people thought those things were private because hasn't the page always said "shared avatars"?

I guess Keith's still making updates? it's working differently every time.

Now when I select "Public" it shows me pages of other people's HAs... in the wardrobe

that happened to me too earlier today, and it was extremely unsettling.

I'm setting everything back to public though. If you type a word that's in your outfit name into the "Name" slot before the Username slot, all the outfits with that word in their names show up. So I'll just put in base.

my avatars are all jumbled too. i'm not having the cramped page problem, they're showing in a 3x4 grid that is easy to look at. however, a lot of my more recent outfits have been moved to the end instead, a lot of outfits are missing, my oldest outfits are round abouts page 25 (out of 52), and after that page there's so many duplicates that I know I didn't save that many of.

Just wanted to confirm that outfit sorting doesn't seem to be functioning 100% properly. Sorting by Newest, page 1 [b]does[/i] appear to be in the correct order as far as I remember, but after that page the order of outfits appears to be pretty random, with multiple outfits being repeated throughout the list. At least a few are missing from the list entirely, even if I click through every page. (If I sort by Random, several outfits appear throughout the list that I can't find at all in Newest.)

Please do NOT take this page away until you are done adding new features (everything was fine till the personal avatar option became a thing), and everything is fixed and stays that way for at least a month. prays Without this page I probably would've quit sometime between March and now. Avatars and wearables are the primary reason I'm here and the only reason I spend money here...sorry!

The saved outfits page is a mess for me too. There are a ton of duplicates and some are completely missing...even one I'm pretty sure I saw in there a few days ago. What really prompted me to come to the forums and make a post though is this bug I just encountered. Here's the sequence of events as they unfolded:

-load saved outfit ("Try on") -edit it, throw on a few new items, take off the saved background, add a new one -be in a page of items after searching for a keyword ("vest" and "mask" are a couple I used) -hit the "Next" button in the item search results (I have a lot of vests and masks) -suddenly, the HA I'm working on has reverted to my current HA and not the saved one I was editing; all my edits are lost -repeat to be sure, run into the same bug -be annoyed

Note: Navigating multiple pages of items is still possible by clicking the page number you want. But the "Next" button shouldn't do what it's doing. Maybe this is only tangentially related to the Saved Outfits page but using a saved outfit is what led to this, so...yeah.

This is what I just noticed. I couldn't find two avatars I was looking to use, and one avatar popped up 3 times. I know it's the same avatar (and not that I accidentally saved the same outfit twice) because I renamed it, and the new name popped up each time.

Also, they're in a weird order. Mine are roughly in holiday order, but old avatars are popping up sooner than new avatars when sorted by Newest.

If you are using Chrome, you should be aware that there is a "feature" in Chrome that will reload the page if you look at another tab for a little while, which will put the avatar you're currently wearing back on.

Nope, I use Opera, and I wasn't switching tabs or anything. Clicking "next" immediately reloaded the page. This was definitely not functioning properly but it seems to be fixed now; some work has been done on the wardrobe since my last complaint here. (And sorry to have veered off your topic a bit with that, just wasn't sure where to report wardrobe issues anymore. There are a bunch of closed threads that say go here, no go there, ugh)

The problem of many duplicates of saved HAs still persists, however. And they don't really seem to be in order, they're just all over the place.

yeah I have that problem too, plus I can't get to any avatars I saved prior to like 2019.

My saved avvies are a disaster too. The ”missing” ones do still exist tho since I have them showing up on a pet’s profile. It almost seems they’re the only missing ones too which is super weird.

BTW, is anyone able to save their outfits? I’d like to switch avvies but for some odd reason I never saved this one....
