So, I've been into pet sims for a couple of years now and I'm always in search of something new. My name is Chris, I'm 18 years old and my pronouns are they/he.

I found out about Subeta basically yesterday while searching online for other pet sims. Today I made up my mind and opened an account here! Other games I play are Dappervolk, Lioden and Flight Rising. I'm also really into Vocaloid/vocal synths (as you can see by my username haha) and books and I'm an artist, albeit not a good one for now.

I sincerely hope to find my place in the community and have a good time. :)

It was heartening in the moment, because it brought to mind how such things are - and always will be - a learning process, and that there's always room for improvement. It's good to be able to recognize and evaluate that -- but it's harder not to be hypercritical of yourself.

There's 'good' in your art already in the fact that you're taking the time and care to create it, and you undoubtedly already know that sometimes that alone is a big step. It can be incredibly difficult at times to see the improvement in your own art over time, and it's completely normal to sometimes feel like you've stagnated in a way, or that you're continuing to create art, yet not improving in a meaningful way. It doesn't mean you've hit a barrier you won't overcome! Remember to be patient and forgiving with yourself, and that sometimes just letting yourself be creative is a productive way toward growth.

My plan for this year is to get back in high school and take art courses there, so that I get a boost when I'll go to college (I had to leave school because of health issues so it's important to me).

I also hope your health improves. I've been struggling myself, currently undergoing a rehabilitation thing (not sure how this is exactly called in English) because I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia .. And yeah, health is more important than anything else. I'm sure you will do fine in high school as soon as you are back!
