[font=georgia] I never used to zap my pets, but recently I started zapping my pet Pita, as I had no plans for her then. Now I have more of an idea of what I want to do with her, but I just feel I cannot stop zapping her. I think I'm going to take turns between zapping her and Granite. It's just so fun to see what you get each time. Sometimes the minion zaps give super cool ones that are worth way more, so I always equip a cheap minion to them. And I love getting the treasure spot increases too, what a perk! It's just fun. Also specie/color changes are fun to see too, but I get annoyed when they become experiments for some reason.
My least favorite options to get though are that it makes your pet insanely happy for hours, or feeds them. Because I don't care about either of those things and the minions already make them happy.
Anyways, I know what I want for my pets, but I can change them into it at anytime, and I just feel like being patient and zapper indefinitely.

My name is Shay and I'm addicted to zapping pets. The only plans I have is to zap until a nice desired color.
I've been adopting pets to zap then releasing them for years now. I've had quite a few times I've had to create a pet just to zap since there were none in the ac. I've also had to go and buy another slot when I grabbed a pet I ended up not being able to let go. Right now I have two zapper pets lined up. I'd have three but I'm holding onto a pet and waiting to see if a user will get back to me on wanting the pet.
I guess my favorite zap is any that ends with a good color. I don't like the zap an item in your inventory. I've lost so many items, cheap to expensive, from that one. I try to clear out my inventory beforehand now. I also don't like most of the experiments as it seems they're not that desired since I've had a few become someone else's zapper pet.

Haha I relate! That's nice of you to zap and then adopt out. Man, the AC has been dryyyy lately, ever since they made the pet name changes so accessible. I used to adopt and zap too.

Alsooo I used to hate when the zapper would get my items. Now I've realized that the zapper only aims at the first item in my inventory. So once it zapped that (displeasing as it was), I just left the dust in that first slot, and now I just keep it there as a stable and it'll get zapped into like stinky dust, and then into dust again, etc. But leaving it there lets me have other items in my inventory without having to clean it out (and inevitably forgetting) and having my good items zapped.
When I zap my pets, I'll usually attach a really cheap minion and sometimes it gets zapped into something more expensive. I'll sell it and reattach a cheap one.
I'm currently zapping my pets Pita and Pumpkin. I was zapping Truffle, but I wanted her to be a mushroom pet and then she got turned into that turtle mushroom thing. I'm not sure that's how I want her permanently, but it seems to fit for now. I was mainly zapping Pumpkin, but she just got zapped into a chibi anyu (sooo cute), so I'm leaving her for a while to enjoy the cuteness, while I go back to my pet Pita. Pita is eventually going to be a custom dark matter feli, but I like the zapping process and I'm not in any hurry to get her to her end point. I just like to zap for fun and to see if they get more treasure spaces, stat. points, etc. The fun of the mystery!
I do wanna eventually get an Experiment 699 (not with Pumpkin or Pita, but with a future zapee) and make a water spirit pet. I usually don't really like the experiments that much either, but that one is cute/cool imo.
