I would like you to imagine that you have met someone who has never experienced something before. They ask you to explain, how do you do it?
My Subeta experience has lasted 15 years, a drop of that time I was on staff, while the majority I was content to enjoy the site and what it had to offer in all its changes and phases (it has changed A LOT in 15 years). I really haven't logged in for quite a long time, I am so behind on exactly what is happening and would love to hear from others what Subeta is.
So, what are some of the more sought after items? What do people look forward to? What are the current plots? Any new developments on the site itself (games, locations, features?)
Explain Subeta to me!
Welcome back.
We haven't had a plot for a couple of years now, possibly three? But something is going on with Blake Steele, who keeps scouting out this year's respective Cash Shop Challengers, being 'legendary' older versions of several common pet species. Different incarnations of Blake himself are the free friendly challengers each month.
For me personally, Subeta is a place to battle, to talk with friends once in a while when I can muster the willpower, and to build new avatars in the wardrobe(s). Right now we are just getting the latest wardrobe up and running and resolving the kinks in the system.
Sought after items is a very difficult question, and it depends on just what you are into. I wouldn't know the first place to answer that beyond battling, and as usual, the demi and godly weapons are favorable just to cover all of the element icons. Since you may not have been here during the plot, is one such newer godly, with the most recent(I think) being the as a new alternative combo from the Hydragelos Core. The looks great, but the last that I heard, it wasn't worth the tokens in the Blackheart Hollow.
If you haven't been around for a very, very long time, then we have the new land of Shengui Guo to explore on the map. It was unveiled in the second most recent major plot fiveish years ago? Some unique item shops, a place to adopt the Zentu pet, and most importantly the Bathhouse Pools. Just visit every day. You can get free elusive currency, including CSC,, in small increments. Resets the cycle every 30ish days so long as you retain your personal successive visit chain.
Don't think we've added any newer games. Removed a few that were flash-based if memory serves.
A less pleasant development has been the low-key announcement that the Monthly Cash Shop Bonus Weekend has been ended and won't be returning, so if you plan to buy, just buy whenever you want. The so-called subscription system to replace it is in the air right now.
It is the place I always return to. Yes, I can safely say always at this point because I've been registered here for over 13 years and I always leave for a few months and then come back. I love being here the most during plots because they are awesome, even though I've only experienced... 2...3?! so far.
I love restocking the most on here. Sadly it seems like it has gotten harder over time and not that many users are active at the moment (well, it is also summer so I can understand it honestly..). So currently I am actually not restocking and working on slowly, but steadily filling up my wardrobe instead. I'm about to hit 16k and hope to get to 20k at least by the end of this year. I also absolutely love CWs and dressing up my avatar.
I do hope there will be a new plot this year or next year. I think it would also help to attract more users again. BUT we really need stable servers for that (I have a feeling it if there is a plot again it will result in a lot of lags...).
With that said I've returned shortly after being away for.... hm... about 1 year maybe? Maybe even longer? I also heard about the issue of a rollback and losing CWs in the process of it. Thing is, even if I did lose CWs I can't even recall which ones I had... which is rather sad honestly. I just hope I didn't lose anything.
I really hope for more active users again. Shoutbox isn't very active during my time zone (back in the days it used to be active all the time) and the forums overall are also kind of...lifeless.
