I didn't realise if you put them in currencie's you couldn't take them out again. Would it be possible to have a 'takeout' option like the wizard has for token's?

If you did this then NPC Esmerelda would realize that the Invitation was not issued to you and would ban you (and the unfortunate fashionista who dropped it) from her shop for life.

Support. I wish all currencies could be removed.

No Support.

The point of having different currencies altogether is so that they stay separate and force participation. Being able to remove currencies makes them more frangible and fungible, which defeats their purpose.

Subeatique Invitations aren't all that common. I'm not seeing this as something that's a heavy demand thing, so ieven if Subeta decided to backtrack on currencies for some reason, it's a low priority on the available programming time, IMO. If time is available then turning two redeems into one Invitation item would be one way to go. Making it harder to turn them in seems to be a better solution to this problem to me. If it's harder to turnt hem in, then users will not likely be in a situation where there are too many turned in.

If a user wants the value of a Subeautique Invite, then with a little patience they can buy many things in Subeautique and then sell it for sP. If users just don't want anything in there right now, wait and eventually there might be something. I never sell mine, so sometimes I can have upt to twenty redeemed. I always end up spending them eventually.

I'm kind of ambivalent but I have to disagree with one part of 's reason:

Subeautique invites are extremely common. You only have to navigate on Subeta some and careless fashionistas are dropping them here, there, and everywhere. I get at least one a day, if not every other day. Then there's the bathhouse, which also gives out invites sometimes and adds them directly to your currency.

I can't say whether this should or shouldn't happen. But if it doesn't happen, and you don't want the items in the Subeautique (which change fairly often), then you could always buy something to sell and then use that money to buy more invitations (assuming you want them for reading) or other stuff (assuming you just want the money). Currently you may not be able to reverse the invitation but you're not exactly stuck for options.

But I also recognize that that can be a little frustrating, so I understand how much nicer it would be to be able to simply remove the invitations. :)

I'm not one that bother's with wardrobe item's and therefore have no use for the invite's unless I can sell or trade them for something I would like. Just annoyed at myself for not realising earlier as now I have over 200 invite's and nothing to do but use them for item's I don't need or want and can't even gift them to friend's. If I had left them in my vault I would have at least had that option. I get it as far as other currency's go, at least you have a choice of different items to choose from wether it be book's, plushie's etc.

Over 200?? Wow, I totally understand why you want this!

There is one book in the Subeautique, but it only comes up every now and then.

I hope for your sake you get this change enacted. If it was me, I'd probably be too impatient and just buy stuff to sell somewhat recklessly. If you're interested in gifting to your friends, you could also see if things are in their wishlist when they're in the Subeautique. That might help a little.

I don't mind that you can't exchange most currencies back into an item you can sell directly for sP. Subeautique invites are a little different than most currencies, however, because you can't predict/promise what you could buy with them in the same way as other currencies, and therefore can't sell them in the same way you could quest points, loyalty points, etc. in the advertising forums. So they are more useless to someone who is not interested in buying Subeautiqe items. Therefore I wouldn't mind if you could turn the reedemed invites back into items, for this currency in particular.

But I wonder if a better solution would be clarify a point in the FAQ about which currencies are exchangeable and not. From the currencies page it is only (somewhat) clear you can switch wizard tokens. The FAQ only mentions that wizard tokens and forum tickets are exchangeable: click. This is at least not exhaustive, it should include steamworks/lounge trinkets, CSC and vesnali coins (not sure if I'm forgetting anything). And clarify that all other currencies are non-exchangeable. (I know it says CSC isn't listed, but it is exchangeable. Side note, why isn't it listed?)

Re: lore reasons: I also don't think lore is good enough to deny this change, the setup is flimsy to begin with and can be altered to accomodate this change (if that's necessary at all, my interpretation of Esmereldas text is that this isn't important (she calls it a "flimsy piece of paper" and that you are bypassing celebrity. I don't think it matters if you found the invite or bought it off someone else. Also, in-fiction, anyone you buy it from also found it on the ground). You can have any number of invites redeemed at a time, but you only show Esmerelada the one when you visit the shop, so she wouldn't know if you removed one.

An alternate solution would be to offer non-clothing items for sale, like the Hazel secret designs journal mentioned above. I don't know what these items would be. More books from designers would be ok, maybe high-fashion magazines, expensive fabric bolts, or something like that?

Love the idea of having design journals from the other designers, past and present. I don’t really have an opinion on any of the other ideas!

If the Invites are useless to a user then why redeem so many? The Bathhouse redeems them directly whether you will it or no, but this forced redeem is not very often.

Lore-wise a user does not know that every user they might buy it from found it on the ground. That's just their opinion from looking at the seller's HA and then being as mean and judgy as NPC Exmerelda. As far as flimsy pieces of paper NPC Esmeralda speaks in an exaggerated way in that she thinks her assistant might be dead just because she doesn't have coffee right now Taking this literally is disingenuous
