Ok so I set the alert for Fantine's bakery but almost every single thing I've cooked has been burnt by the time the alert showed up. I even set a timer on my phone to check and it was just coming out burnt. WTH?

It's down to random chance, not timing. You can take it off at the right minute or leave it for hours (or days) and it won't affect the chance of it being burned.

- Oooh. It's just weird because I haven't been able to make a single darn thing for two weeks no matter how many times I bake. That never happened before. I could always make at least a handful of stuff before it burnt lol! Maybe I should stop baking and see what happens? :P

Wow, not a single thing? That sounds like terrible luck! It's supposed to be a really small chance as far as I remember, and also has something to do with your baking level - the higher your level, the less chance of baked goods getting burned. Maybe try some really cheap/easy things if you haven't already? The Knead to Bake FAQ has some good answers!

Mm, a break sounds like a good idea, if only for your sanity. xD Then maybe start with some lower level items first? Good luck with your baking! If you ever do want to give up (or if anyone else is lurking), I'm happy to bake things up to level 19 for free if the ingredients are provided. c: That won't help you to level up, though. x)
