EDIT : The new highlights show/hide toggle function fixed the problem. Thanks a lot! This can be locked.

i'm having the same problem, the hair style i have on right now is from the old wardrobe, i went to the new wardrobe, going and try to put on a saved outfit it just turns my hair all black

Good news: the salon now seems to have options for removing highlights/making them invisible! Unfortunately that option doesn't seem to work yet. Still, I'm glad it's being worked on!

I don't know if this is the same thing but my salon saved HAs are not showing highlights. It only loads the basic color I chose for eg:
