It would be cool to be able to get bonus quests from all of the available quests not just the wizard.

Support! I don't really see the harm, as one extra quest from any quest giver should not break the game. I hope not lol.

I agree. Tokens are nice, but to get one or two extra items (by Cursed quests) I can sell or trade (depending of the price) are much better in my opinion. ^^

If we had this, then buff being called the "bonus quest buff" and not the "bonus Wizard quest buff" (like I think it might as well be caleld at the moment? would make more sense.

Also, I still think we should have a sidebar alert for when we get the buff. I mean, we have one for when it wears off, and random events are sometimes easy to miss if you close the page too fast or load a page without looking at it, or if errors happen and you get one during that and don't see it. So maybe that could be added when the other quests get it as well.

Do you want to add more random events, one for each quester, or did you want to change the current Wizard Quest bonus to a random quester event?

I ask because there are a lot of REs I still need and the more REs that exist, the less often the ones I need will show up. I don't want a random extra quest as much as I want Oracle Quest and Tempest events.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't agree. With the Wizard, you absolutely know what you're getting, and tokens are always valuable. Even if you don't use them, you can always sell them for pretty steady prices. And if you finagled it so that you had completed all your quests before the bonus quest shows up, you get the extra 20-pt token twice.

Personally I would be disappointed to see that it was an extra quest for another quest-giver and then find the reward be 752 sP from Maleria, or a piece of furniture from Nori/Mori, or useless things from the Library. That would be such a let-down.

That's the risk of doing any quest of theirs, bonus or not.

(Unless the Wizard's bonus quests actually do give a guaranteed extra amt of sP. I always thought it was just "Hey, have another shot to make a bit more money."

That's my point. I accept that risk when I do their quests, because I know that some of them will actually be worth it.

But what I see asking for is a dilution of the Bonus Quest. Now on top of the "chance" of getting it or not getting it, you also have the "chance" of getting a good quest or a bad quest. The Wizard does give out varying amounts of money as well, but you can always depend on what the prizes will be. For the others, you cannot.

I think maybe if it was coded so that bonus quests, whoever is giving them, have a more increased chance at a good prize, I might be more amenable. But to have a chance of a chance on this one quest for something good? I'd rather it stay the way it is.

Random quester. Just gets boring having the same ones. Quite like another chance to get a mage amulet from Quentin or more sp from saggi.

Oracle doesn’t seem as rare as it used to be. Had it 3 times in the last week and a half.

Embrace change ;)

Oracles quests are rare - I tend to get a flurry of 2-4, then nothing for months and months. Its weird how they seem to come in clusters.

I wouldn't mind changing the wiz quest RE into an extra random quest instead.

The original purpose of the creation of this RE was to lower the price of WT because they were in high demand and too expensive. If Wizard Tokens are of little value now, I would prefer it if subeta should instead delete it so we get a better chance at other REs or get the chance to create a different RE.

I thought there already was a sidebar alert for extra quests, although maybe I'm confusing it with something else. In any case, if you have the "Subeta: (your name)" widget active on your sidebar, there's a space there for buffs. A little icon appears when you have an extra Wizard Quest. It shows up even if you miss the actual event (it's happened to me!) Granted, it's not as noticeable as an alert, but it's something.

As far as OP's original question, I could go either way, really. Though I don't do every quest every day, so it wouldn't really benefit me as much as someone who did. Then again, hey, a little free sP never hurt, quests don't take that long to do, and even if the item reward is useless I can frag it, which is what I've been doing anyway since I've not had much luck actually selling them.
