What are you most excited to see?

Not really. But it's an event/holiday so I'm curious about new items.

Also I do need to collect missed books and stuff.

I'm hoping for another farmer's market-themed holiday this year. Thanks to covid, I haven't been able to go to my local farmer's market (it's still happening.......... but lmao forget going to crowds of people with the same self-awareness level as a slime mold), so I think having items that are designed to be grown/made by local farmers and etc. would scratch that itch.

I kind of want to see like, homemade masks?? LOL I know Subeta is meant to be escapist but some designs I've seen look really cool.

I’m most excited for new foods for my Gourmand pet. I like this holiday because it’s very low key.

I just stumbled on that page and I was wondering what that was about xDD still relatively new to Subeta; Opened an accoutn and went inactive for a long time after about 2 weeks xD

I hope that there is a bit more to it beyond just some temporary shops, but it depends how much effort it would take to add other features. I'm not expecting a plot, but I do hope for some more lore regarding the Gunter/Bubbles/Anne story, that could easily be done with a news post or forum thread or something.

Well, there is a farmer's market that I think they used to have during Fireside, before I joined here, maybe they could repurpose it for Neugarten? I think it's been suggested so I'm hoping that suggestion got acknowledged.

I have been away for so long, what is it?

Neugarten is a replacement for Alegarten where it's now summer-themed instead of autumn-themed, and also based more on sustainability (it started with vegan items but has broadened to other envireonmentally-friendly stuff). I heard that it was changed partly because there was previously such a short space between holidays because it used to take place not long before Morostide, and partly because they'd ran out of ideas for it and wanted to do something new.

Also, it was revealed that Gunter, who ran the holiday, killed his brother who became Bubbles (and is also Anne's father), and after the first Neugarten in 2018 he confessed to it and has been in custody of the SAI ever since, so now Anne is in charge of the holiday with some help from other NPCs who temporarily leave their own shops to run the ones included in this holiday. I still want to know how Bubbles became a zombie if he was killed, was he infected with a virus when he died, or is there another way to become one?

Woah, I didn't know any of this.

I hope to see some cute enviro things and basically more creative food items for potential pet treasures.

I'm starting to think that Neugarten won't be starting this month. It's nearly the end, and there's still the monsthly Quest Shop items and Cash Shop challenger to be released. I could be wrong, but as I said before, the holiday schedule doesn't give as specific a time window to start as it does for the other holidays, and I'm not in much of a hurry for it to start anyway.

Also, do you think they'll close Shoutbox in the sidebar again, or will they leave it because there's not as many things to do as there are during other holidays (unless they add more to it this year)?

some of us who believe innocent until proven guilty would re-order what has been told you about NPC Gunter. At the time, there was no cure for zombie viruses for anyone users or NPCs alike. They also had airborne transmission and there was no Doctors Mask item. Nobody had control over whether or not you could be bitten there was no Shrunken Head Pendant. It is entirely a matter of self-defense if your brother is turning into a zombie to put a stop to that in order to save yourself and your family from having their brains eaten.

Self-defense is not murder.

As for myself, I am hoping that Liquid Yeast is still in the 2012 shop in the Brewery even though it has also been made restockable at the Food Market.

Alright, now I'm getting impatient for it to start, even if there isn't really anything to be excited about besides the items (unless we actually do get some lore development), and even if it could still be left all the way until August or even September (which is unlikely since there's 2 other events during that month).
