I haven't roleplayed in a couple of years, and I've been missing it lately. I used to roleplay a ton and consider myself to be lit-lit+. You can expect good grammar and spelling from me 99% of the time (we all make mistakes) and posts that are 3-8+ paragraphs with content. Please don't let that intimidate you. I'm really not picky about matching levels as long as the story and characters are good.
A bit about me You can call me Goblin or Laryn, either is fine. I'm in my late 20s and I'm a stay at home wife/artist. My schedule Monday-Friday is typically very laid back, so I can probably reply 2-4 times during an average week. Weekends are family time, so expect those to be much slower for replies. I will attempt to reply at least once a week, and will let you know if anything comes up where I can't. (if I'm really into a rp though, I might reply multiple times a day. It really just depends)
Rp stuff I'm really into fantasy and anything cryptid. Werewolves, vampires, mermaids. You name it, if there's beasties I'll probably enjoy it. I'm also down to rp apocalyptic themes and animal genres (wolf pack, lions, feral cats, horses etc). I'm pretty much open for suggestions, however I will not do fandoms. Sorry, I just don't know enough about most of them to be able to rp it properly. But like I said, if you have an idea, please don't be shy.
I LOVE plots and world building. I do much better if the rp has a direction instead of just seeing what happens, but I can rp the latter as well if that's your style. I have a few fleshed out plots which will be at the end of this post.
I like getting to know my rp buddies and chatting and brainstorming together. I'm pretty introverted though, so please don't be concerned if I don't initiate conversation. I'd love to talk to you, I just don't know how to start most of the time.
I will not rp NSFW themes. I'm good with romance (natural, built up romance. Please no insta-romance unless it's plot related), but any adult scenes between characters will be fade to black. However, I am fine with other more mature topics such as drinking, violence, gore, etc. On a similar note, if you want to rp romance, I'm only comfortable rping MxF pairings.
I'm good with rping here over Smail or over email.
Please don't disappear from the rp. If it's not working for you, you get stuck on writing, or something else comes up please let me know and we can either work it out or part ways like mature people. I will do my best to do the same (I'm working on getting better).
I think that's about it. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Plots
Bitten I never thought I'd actually get caught up in something like this. I wasn't referring to the incident at the bar. Those things happen. You like your wounds and move on with life. No, I was talking about a wound that went much deeper than cuts and bruises . I'll probably never recover from the bite.
Plot: character A gets caught up in some nasty business at a bar, and character B saves them from it. Unable to get an address or relative's number from character A (maybe they are in a panic. Maybe they are wounded or unconscious?), character B takes them home to sleep it off. It would have been fine had the monsters kept quiet like they had for weeks. Character B is a supernatural hunter, and of all nights, now the creatures of night decide to stir once more. Character A awakens to find character B dueling it out with a creature who has come to kill them. Character B eventually exterminates the being, but not before character A is bitten. Will character B end them now that their fate has been decided, even though they just saved them; or will they let character A live and help them through the changes that are sure to come?
Notes: Roles can be switched and character A can be the hunter. You can choose character A or B, I'm good with either. If you choose the bitten character, you can decide what bit them.
Rise to Chaos Some college girls perform a seance just for some fun one night. They didn't know how ancient and powerful the magic they had gotten hold of was. The one who cited the incantation (character A), unknowingly opened the gates of hell and summoned Lucifer as her servant in exchange for her soul. She wakes up the next morning to find the demon in her room, ready to grant her every whim. One small problem though. Because she had no idea what she was doing, something went wrong with the spell- perhaps she spoke a syllable wrong, or simply didn't have enough power to cast it completely; and Lucifer has no memory of who he is other than a demon. Havoc ensues now that the gates have opened, and the girl tries to fix her mistake by employing her new demon slave to defeat whatever creatures arise from the underworld. Because he has no memory, Lucifer can not but obey, and he begins to slowly but surely destroy his own kingdom. Will there even be a hell to return to when he harvests her soul, or will he exchange his kingdom for their contract?
Notes: I'm good playing either character
Bump in the Night I always thought teddy bears were just some stuffing and fabric and thread. Little did I know they kept the monsters away at night. They thought they were only supposed to protect children, the monsters didn't seem to interested in adults...so why do the nightmares chase me?
Plot: Character A is a normal young adult, living in the modern world, dealing with everyday life, and an almost constant pain in their back which doctors can't explain. It's tolerable for the most part, so they continue with their life. Their distant mother passes away and only leaves them an old, stuffed toy as their inheritance. They take it home, rather disgruntled that it was all she left to them. Little did they know, said stuffed toy is only one of character B's forms. The other is a warrior who wears armor that matches the stuffed animal they once were, and keeps away the creatures of the night while their charge sleeps. character A was never supposed to wake up while in the middle of a duel between Character B and a creature of the night, but they did. Character A suddenly finds themselves tossed into a world where nightmares are real. Character B has to explain everything, and character A has to find a way to accept it or go completely mad.
Notes: I would prefer character A, but I can play either.
The Chase Plot: Character A, a werewolf, barely made it out with the young pup. Now they're in the wilderness; cold, hungry, on the brink of a fate not much brighter than the one they had just escaped. And they are still being hunted. Character B find them and takes them in, unaware of the anarchy they are mixed up in. Will Character B leave them to their fate when they find out the truth, or will they help them escape and eventually take on those who hunt them?
Notes: I would prefer to play A and the pup as I have characters fleshed out for them already. But I can play B if you really prefer it. If you play B, you can decide what race they are (human, wolf, vampire, etc)
