HI all! I'm Evenki and I just started early this morning. I'm really enjoying being here even though I can't figure out how to win a battle haha. I enjoy playing games, fiber arts, and hanging out with my family and pets. Currently, I have two chihuahuas and two kittys but I have owned or taken care of many animals from reptiles such as tortoises, turtles, iguanas, geckos, bearded dragons, lots of different snakes, to hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, bunnies, horses, cows, goats, sheep, alpacas, snails (both aquatic and non), fish, lots of different breeds of dogs including big dogs like great danes, medium such as pitbulls, but as for small dogs I'm mostly a chihuahua fan, and I've even had a few wild animals such as racoons, wolves, and even a bobcat. I've probably forgotten a few species but its been a long list. My brother refers to my house as "The Zoo." As for the fiber arts, my top is crocheting and spinning yarn but I also enjoy knitting, needle felting, embroidery and cross stich, dying yarn, and tatting. I also enjoy the outdoors when I can. I'm disabled and its hard for me to hike and camp anymore but I enjoy it when I can. I love to fish and used to hunt wild game for food. I live in the Pacific Northwest and one of my favorite things to do outdoors is to pick huckleberries or what my family refers to as "berry beans." I recently found out that huckleberries are just a Pacific Northwest thing. I had a friend from the east coast that had no clue what I was referring to when I started talking about them. Anyway, since I'm disabled, I really enjoy crafting to keep busy. Along with all my fiber crafts, I make jewelry, scrapbook, enjoy photography, paint, and draw. It keeps me busy even though I don't get outdoors much anymore. Oh and my family and I also enjoy a good sit down of roleplaying dungeons and dragons.
I learned about subeta because originally I played sylestia and started looking for similar games. Subeta was suggested on a forum so I looked it up and here I am. I've been here for less than 24 hours and I'm already hooked. I'm interested in finding some friends and will look in that thread when finished here. I don't know if I have a favorite pet on here yet but I know I've already gone overboard on buying books, minions, food, and toys for them. I'm a collector style gamer at heart so this is really just feeding my addiction haha. I'm happy to be here and thanks for reading.

Welcome to Subeta! Looks like you've gotten a LOT done in your first days here already :D Don't be a stranger if you've any questions!
The battle system is a little complicated if you really want to get into it, I suggest heading over to the battle forums. There are HEAPS of guides and there's also a chat thread where people are happy to help out. For starters I'd get started on training your pet in Riverside Valley (https://subeta.net/explore/train.php) Bringing their stats up will help you no matter how heavy you plan to get into battling (since occasionally battling is included in plots or site events, it doesn't hurt to have at least one pet with a little more than the basic stats)
There are some affordable items that can help you win against opponents, but the chat or the guides will probably best help you out :)
