Scruffy is calling to me. That's the name of my neighborhood's cat who decided to adopt me. lol I named her Scruffy because she's a long haired cat who will angrily take off your hands when you try to brush her. So the poor thing goes around with mats. I try to help by cutting her fur above the mat so she can work them off herself.

Oh no! Poor Scruffy! Try wearing gloves and cut the mats than brush her, but do it in an enclosed area.

She actually does come inside but I have inside cats so she stays in the laundry room. That started a few years back when we had a really bad winter. Now she expects it if its cold, raining, or she just feels insecure outside.

She "technically" is suppose to belong to the neighbors across the street. They have dogs and a dog door so Scruffy was all, "Goodbye." Well, the other two cats of theirs did as well. One "adopted" the lady two house down and the other "adopted" the group home up the street. None of them will willing stay inside for long.

That's really too bad. Those people obviously never cared about their cats to begin with and now they've turned feral. I'm glad they kind of got adopted in a way and I think the nighbourhood knows they sort of have a home, but prefer roaming outdoors?

I think they did/do it's just around the time they got the cats their lives went unstable a bit. Add in kids who went in and out it made it even harder to keep track of the cats. At least they did the smart thing and got them spayed/neutered before they ended up being outside kitties.

They're spoiled fat kitties. There's like six house on my street alone that feeds them. Plus one the next street over. They are well known here.
