Most of the time it seems to be really inaccurate, so I am wondering what is used to determine how much the parts of an account are worth.
I'm pretty sure most of it is based on user prices and overall average prices of most things. But I'm not 100% sure.
That's what I thought too, but sometimes it shows that something is worth 5 million but it's selling in shops for 100 sP or something. So that's when it confuses me.
that happened with the 2012 goodie bag once... i think its because someone sold one at a very inflated price, so i upped the overall price by a lot :/
but im not too sure

It looks like it goes by what the items sold for that day, which is one of the reasons why it's so inaccurate. Like, someone puts a junk offer up for art or something for 50mil... that item suddenly becomes 50mi when it's really worth like next to nothing. Or someone buys up all of a certain item up to whatever price, the account worth goes with it.
It's... weird.
