I'm so sorry to bother you guys, I have tried to work this out myself because i'm sure you get questions like this all the time and it can get old really quickly!

Basically, I want to put a backdrop item on my human, however the item shows in front of her so she completely disappears.

I realise I am suppose to layer the items with her base and supposedly the backdrop item needs to be the first layer with the base as the next layer so it shows up on top, the trouble is I cant remove the base layer from being the first layer ( I have been able to remove all other layers such as hair/eyes/mouth etc but there is no 'x' on the base option to clear it, if you know what i mean?)

How do i make the backdrop item the first item if i can't remove the base as the first item?

Drag any new background item below the base layer. c: If you want the background to be over the HA, do the opposite and drag it up above the HA. Mind you, only the newest backgrounds don't have the HA cutout. Choose accordingly.
