Nori just asked me for a Royale Ligero Top which has only just been released and no quests ask for subeautique items beside Item Hunter.

We had a suggestions thread about this a few years ago and staff determined it was fair for quest givers to request unpriced items.

Once the item has a price it will be pulled out of the pool because it will be too expensive. Until then you just have to wait.

So what range of rarity can Nori ask for then? Because the Royale Ligero Top is r87 and I’m pretty positive I’ve never been asked for a super rare item from her before? And even if it’s not a bug, it’s ludicrously unfair; surely there’s a way for it to be based on rarity but excluding SBQ items?

That’s just ridiculous, if they know it’s going to be too expensive then why even bother? Again I’m pretty sure I’ve never been asked for a super rare item from her- usually it’s on Saggi who asks for those.

I think that's because the super rare items are usually also expensive. There's a price limit in addition to the rarity limits. So usually rare items don't show up because they also exceed the price limit. For some reason staff includes prices of 0 (unpriced) in the pool of items that quest givers can ask for as long as they're also within the rarity limits. I agree that it's ridiculous and should be changed to a minimum price of at least 1 sP, but they determined it to be fair so there's unfortunately not much we can do =/

Mori just asked me for one of the new SubQ items too... Like you need to be paying me better just for asking for that. I will never pay 10 mil for y'all.

I have never seen the cursed quests ask for anything more than a rare item tbh, not that I can recall anyway, besides that SBQ item, but I shall keep a closer eye out on what they ask for to see if I’m mistaken
