Good afternoon~

I currently own a wacom intuos standard. It works very well however, I'm finally in the market for something more complicated. I want a pen display drawing tablet. Something that is going to let me draw from my couch if I so chose. I've only ever looked at wacom products as they've been my friends' most trusted for hobby art work on the side. I'm not looking for an expensive professional piece of equipment. Just something that is easy to use and the like. Any suggestions?

Are you looking for something more like an iPad pro or a cintiq? If you're looking for something similar to a cintiq, Huoin also makes their own drawing tablets and, I've heard good reviews of their pen display tablet. It's a much cheaper alternative to a cintiq if you're looking for that type of product. I pretty much work between using an iPad pro, and an intuos 5 for most of my drawing with iPad pro being what I use whenever I'm drawing on the go and the intuos when I'm hooked to my laptop. Wacom does make a lower end 16" cintiq that retails for 649, and there's also the wacom one as well.

I've linked to one on amazon just to give you an idea of their specs. Huion Pen Display tablet

Most of the iPads support the apple pencil now so any of the newer gens should totally work. Also, Samsung's s pen is pretty nice as well. If you can pickup a used surface pro on the cheap it would serve you well also. The pen sensitivity and drawing experience on all of the above is enjoyable.
