A little while ago, I got a message from my beloved weasel asking if this wasn't a good time for adventure. I wasn't sure what to say then, but I think she may be right. Is it indeed time? And if so, what kind? I got zero responses about another Waywayd Squirrel last go-round, and only a few for Nutsy, so I'm not sure. A lot of the "old gang" is gone (sniffle) so it might be time to just pack up the tents for good. Or not?

I would be up for another WS but NNN was not so much in the way of being my thing. I can't do the "try to solve a mystery by only asking people x number of questions instead of roleplaying my character actually looking at the clues with their own senses" thing again.

(I am also getting an actual Galactic Thylacine to release soon.)

I'm a little muddle-headed with how late it is here right now, but I, for one, am interested. (in what? ...I think if I had to choose one I should do it when I'm actually awake enough... * corrected soo many mistakes in that sent.. * )

To be honest, On my part it had been a little tough for me with rl issues causing me stress and self-doubt, and ....yeah, anxiety. So it had been a little rough to take bigger part in things. (i think that made sense..)
Right now though, oddly enough (though the world may feel a little crazy..) I have a little more time on my hands. ^_^
( is just realizing how many times I say 'little'...)

I am not in for nutsy. I don't think I'm the right fit for that venue as much as I try. I would be happy to attempt another WS, but probably on my own so I hope it won't frustrate me as Maths is so highly NOT in my wheelhouse that I get frustrated. RP is my love. I wouldn't mind a rp adventure in the form of WS or something new though if it could help boost my morale.

I might be able to rejoin a Wayward Squirrel event or a roleplay event, but I'm not sure. My ability to focus is kind of sapped by the whole stay-at-home-all-the-time thing and family issues related to it.

3. I’d prefer a less intensive adventure; I loved my one WS but I don’t think I could give it my all right now because I’m working from home. (On a personal note, I was only able to participate in that one because it was during the summer. I teach fall-spring and WS is difficult for me to commit to without an excess of free time.) Maybe something that is able to be done individually (but people can still choose to work in teams) with looser deadlines? I’d hate to see you pack up the tents for good, but perhaps a shift in formatting could revive interest. My main concern with WS is how time consuming it can be.

4. I’m not familiar with NNN so I picked WS by default.

Heh, I thought you were taking a hiatus from RP. I was just waiting patiently for your next set of adventures to show up. I honestly don't recall you asking before. Anyway, I'm more of an RP girl. I'm leaning more towards medieval fantasy with dragons ;) (like a LOTR feel to it). I guess I'm looking for 1, 4 and 5 LMAO. But whatever suits you or anyone else is fine by me! SQUEE!

I think I answered the last time that I was totally in for another adventure. Option 1-5, whatever you pick would be okay for me.

If you got zero response from WS then I did not get a ping for it! I love WS!! I just really really wish you would do it more in the cooler seasons not the heat of summer. I understand why you do it in summer, but summer is the absolute hardest time for me to be on with any amount of free time. I tend to be able to snatch 1 hour a day online in the summer (due to excessive heat and I have to use a projector, I cannot view a regular computer/tv/phone screen due to intense migraines from them and 99% of all artificial lights). The only reason this matters is because it limits the time I can spend solving puzzles and writing. :(

I think that a lot of people are under a lot of stress right now from the virus/real life issues. I also think that with so many people home schooling and working from home they appear to have free time but in reality they are more busy than ever. I know these are my limited view of the world opinions.

To that end, I propose starting a WS adventure in the fall, like early September or the first day of October. ^^ So that is my vote, for a fall start. (Also it would be colder then so I could spend more time doing puzzles and RPing - so selfish of me.)

In short, these are my favorite options:

I don't know I even spotted a question about this before, but I'm definitely up for another WS providing I can dip in and out as needed (last time I was able to take part all the way through, but I get on better if I don't feel the 'pressure' of having to participate in every section ;)

Although I love the idea of Nutsy, I've never got to grips with that :P so I'd have to say WS would be my personal preference :)

I haven't had time to participate the last few years but PLEASE DO NOT STOP!!! I had so much fun and I'm sure others feel this very same way! I know RL things have been so crazy lately but maybe an adventure is just what they need to escape if only for a little while! Besides with so many out of work and under "stay at home" orders I would not be surprised if you have a record turn out this year!!!! {{{{{HUGS}}}}} Stay safe dear friend and keep doing what you do!

I'd be most interested in , or maybe or in the same style as WS. Nutsy's was interesting but not quite my thing, I was never good at 'connecting the dots' well enough in those sorts of puzzles and scenarios.

I'm sorry if this next part comes off as too familiar or gives offense, it's not meant to; it's something I've just had to deal with when GMing games and the group changed. Trying to recapture the same feeling never worked right. Would you want to continue? You mentioned that a lot of the 'old guard' is gone for you. Would you enjoy another one with different sets of people enough to try again, or would it just remind you of the 'old days'? These sorts of events are a lot of work for you as well and usually come with at least a little drama, like anything worth doing, so in the end what's most important is whether your heart is in it or not.

I would love another adventure! Something, anything!

PRO: It gives me something to focus on. Even when they open everything back up, I'm still stuck at home all day (I'm a teacher and we're not going back to work). It also makes Subeta more interesting. Sure they do events and holidays, but they're not very involved. (All I had to do for Masquerade was click Dance every few minutes. It didn't hold my interest.) I like the challenge of doing things I'm not always good at, like the mind games, writing story lines, etc.

CON: My biggest problem with the previous events was trying to keep track of all the characters and places and backstory. Teams were awesome, but it was always a struggle to get everyone's input on the chapters. I'm not sure how that would get fixed since RL will always get in the way.
