think would be nice as it takes so long to do it 1 by 1

Inb4 someone says that'd make things too easy. Like that's a bad thing.

I can see this being a nice GA perk to keep players active and interested, honestly. Especially if a tick box were implemented for the features so it wouldn't be "too easy" and it could be turned off at will.

how do you envision this happening? A new page, feed or play with pets? How do you choose which food or toys? Which pet? Is it inventory based? Or pet based?

I'm all for making it easier to interact with pets - feeding, reading, playing but I'm having a hard time imagining how it would work.

Note that some people have a hundred or so pets, so it can get pretty complex.

I've been trying to read all the cheap books to all my pets and its very slow going, I'd love a quicker, easier, better way to do it but I really don't know what that would look like.

ah okay.

I personally wouldn't find this helpful, because I generally only use 1 item on each pet, but support it if others would find it helpful.

There is an item, the Infinity Berry, that lasts forever. You click it, feed your pet - your pet goes to 10/10 hunger. The item remains in your inventory and you can feed it to each of your pets. (note: the warning in the description is just a joke, it does nothing to your pet other than feed it.)

It might be more helpful to create an infinity toy that does the same thing for making your pets happy. Though that's less needed since you just have to give your pets a minion and they will remain happy forever.

Equipping a pet with a minion fills its Happiness to 10/10.

Lakeview Resort and Rathskeller Inn can keep your pets’ Hunger filled at 10/10.

I wouldn’t find this proposal useful since it’s about using multiples of the same item.

The whole point of the Achievements like Oofa Fruit Finder and Yum...Not! is that you are feeding them to your pet one-by-one. If this gets implemented as an account buff these will need to be retired as they aren't really the same achievement anymore.

You still need to acquire the items in question, so its still a challenge.

I earned both those achievements one food item at a time and I see no reason why anyone else should be forced to do it that way. Its a PITA, not some big special accomplishment. Someone getting the achievements "easier" than I did is no big deal. I, as a player who's been around forever, have a lot of things that are easier simply because of my longevity. I've gotten tons of achievements that newcomers can't get because they've been retired - so what if a few existing ones are now "easier" for newer players?

I don't think it would change those achievements enough to retire them.

I'd love an "all you can eat buffet" option to feed your pet up to 10/10. Having to feed them one by one is a pain. I'm very into collections so keeping pets fed with the infinity berry or sending them to the resort wouldn't be useful to me as I only feed my pets new foods or achievement items to increase their lists of eaten foods.

An option to read multiple books to them at once would also be useful but I feel it's not as realistic of an idea in comparison to a "buffet" for feeding.

Achievements are not a public good. Realistic is not relevant to Subeta.

I'd support this. I'm sure I'm not the only one who often gives pets specific foods (to match their theme or appearance, or just for achievements) so being able to feed them multiple things at once would be really helpful. The berry isn't that great if you do enjoy picking out foods for your pets to eat and aren't just trying to keep them full.

For people who just want their pets to be full and what they feed them doesn't matter to them, I'd even endorse a cheaper version of the berry. Maybe something that had limited uses or could be used for only one pet. Then again, a feature that let you select multiple foods at once would make their life easier too, since they could just load their inventory with random foods and mass-feed pets like this.

I agree that realistic isn't a huge deal for subeta but... what?! Achievements aren't a public good but they do exist and they can influence what people decide to feed their pets (as well as the foods eaten page, which some people enjoy using to build their pets). Subeta's own design makes this style of feeding pets possible and in a way, even encourages it. I don't see how discussing a feature that people with a certain, common style of playing the game would like to see is treating achievements as a "public good", unless we pretend that achievements don't exist or that nobody cares about them.
