(Very WIP, but I plan to keep the overall colors and base!)

I've determined based on past examples that Subeta is pretty lenient when it comes to overlays (i.e. the overlay doesn't have to be a perfect reflection of the actual color + species of the pet). But I still wanted to check in with other users in case! The design wasn't made with any particular species & color in mind.

Jawn to be an Experiment just to have him labeled as such. I really wouldn't care which one. However, would this overlay be accepted for any experiment, regardless of which one it is? Even if I zapped him once and he became an "Experiment 0101", would the overlay still be accepted so long as I keep that information on his profile?

Experiment 84 comes the overall closest to the design, so if the overlay and pet had to "match", I'd be aiming for that. However, knowing how much money the Zapper sucks up, I think I'd pass if that were the case and just go with a standard species. That being said, which non-experimental species & color combination would work best here? I feel like he may work okay as a Kora, Mahar, or Cadogre, though he's more reptilian/alien-looking than anything. As for colors, Nightmare/Graveyard/Hyrdus is fitting (but too expensive) so maybe Marsh/Silver?

it's my understanding that you can use any pet image you want as long as the real colour and species info is clearly visible, so go with it.

If you do decide to aim for an experiment and don't want to rely on the zapper you can always throw Experimental Dew at him until you get the one you want.

Outside experiments I could see him as a zasaba, actually. They have the extra limbs and the elongated shape.

If you settle for experiment, is closest, but may be too stubby. is very close if you don't mind bug-like features. has a somewhat similar body/head style, but wrong color.

Could also be a nightmare or Riftborn paralix.

Aeanoid and Swampie come to mind just because they sound like fitting species names.
