I think everyone loves Zombie skins and we all want to get as many as possible.

I think it would be really cool if we could have a One time Mini Zombie plot during the off season(when there aren't any events going on) where we would be able to get some more strains without more coming out. Staff could point out that it would be only a one time event so no one expects it to happen every year but it would help users get some of those older strains they keep putting off for the brand new strains.

No new strains, no new Zombie store items, and no new Louis L'amour items.No kissing, Just plain biting for old strains.

I'm a collector/hoarder and it drives me nuts that I will never, ever come even close to getting all the zombie skins. Sure there's some I can live without, but at the very best, providing no glitches and getting lucky, I can manage to snag 5 skins during the event. With 4 new skins during the event and more than 25 old skins I don't have....well that's 25 years to get all the skins provided nothing goes wrong...yeah.

I have 24 zombie skins (plus one I'm currently working on), and I'm missing 25. I'm someone who was around from the beginning, have a bonus skin because I never cured my boobitis until we got skins, and have had good luck (and the time) to get the max number of skins every year. Others haven't been so lucky (or determined).

I would love this!! There's no other way I could catch up on collecting skins.

Speaking as someone who owns no zombie skins and doesn't ever want any, doesn't kiss anyone and who would block kisses if I could this sounds dull and a waste of limited Subetan resources for something else that might be fun.

I like the idea that you can't ever catch them all. While a lot of Subeta is a collection and organization thing, not everything has to be like that all the time always. And sometimes with natural immunity some folks just don't catch certain diseases and the skins you don't have represent that.

Now if we get candy hearts by shotgun-shooting this unauthorized non-VIP outbreak of contagious cannibals, and get some Challengers to fight for head-blowing-away weaponry, and the more of these bad guys we wipe out who are framing NPC Gunther for his self-defense actions, then that might be fun.

A one-time event wouldn’t really solve the issue, as anybody who signs up later (or just plain misses it) will still be insanely behind.

I still advocate for severely reducing stage time on older infections. New infections can still be 12-16 hrs a stage, but that time should be reduced for all the older ones. As it is, you kinda have to sacrifice running around in your new skin and dressing up for the holiday if you want to get more.

Not that I’m against out-of-season zombie plots! I just think there’s still a better way to go about giving out the skins that hasn’t been tried. maybe someday~

I agree completely, but we're already so far behind that a mini-event can only help. And I believe its far more likely to happen, since the programming already exists. Whereas speeding up older strains would require new programming, so even if staff thought it was a good idea, that could take years to come about.

I am not suggesting this to get all the strains. Heck I will never get all the strains myself. I have only been active during Survival 3 times I believe so I will never have all the skins. I just thought it would be a cool way to get a few of the strains that we can not pick up during the event. I know there are so many I would like to get but will probably never be able to get them because 4 is such a small amount especially when there are 4 new strains every year. I totally understand we are not meant to get them all though. I am not tech savvy so I have no idea what kind of work strain this would put on the staff. That is why I say only biting for old strains without any of the other stuff that goes into Survival. It was just an idea because I know a lot of that would love to get a chance to get a few extra strains in. I would even be open to the shorter stage times or a lot of people were saying it would be nice to get some more 6 stagers.

I actually like Bean's idea better - reducing wait times on older strains really would be the optimal solution.

Or, you know, make the strains expensive MC items.for limited period of time
