Can I create new pets for people, color them and send it their way? If so, I'd like to do that to get rid of these boxes

I have 2 painted already if anyone wants them

I only have 23k left in my account so abandoning them in the adoption center will cost more than that

You can friend the people you want to give the pets to and give them away that way.

I'm pretty sure the only rule about transferring pets is that they can't be sold.

I think thats okay to do. But I have two questions about it. 1.Can you make experiment pets with the totems? 2.Can I, for example, send you one of my own pets to change them and get them sent back to me?
