Shoutbox Color Anti-Frustration Feature?

Sorry, couldn't come up with a better title. Since there is a way to preview what your shoutbox color will look like, I feel like there should be a way to preview what your messages will look like in terms of font color and readability, and how URLs will display. I've had the problem before where I set my SB color too dark and the URL blends in with the color or is otherwise difficult to notice. I'm not sure how difficult that would be to program.
