I just got from the Free Shop I was excited and everything but then I wanted to click on "back to shop" but instead it clicked on "add to the collection" and that's it, the item is gone forever and I can't sell it or put in the TC.

There's no warning unlike when you add the collection from the inventory, this page is so tricky and you can easily lose collection items that you actually wanted to do a different use with them.

Also, the space between the 2 buttons is very small and it's easy to click on the wrong one.

So I just lost a 43mil plushie.

I opened a ticket and they said that they can't remove it and give it back to me, which is not correct imo because there was no warning and the buttons are very close to each other so it can lead to a mistake that you can't revert.

Funny, but it happened to me the second time with a wearable, but thankfully I was able to remove it from the wardrobe.

Yes! Please! I just had the same issue and came here to post the same suggestion. I lost the Opal-Encrusted Sheeta Plushie I had gotten from the Free Shop because I clicked on mobile to go back to the shop and apparently there was text right above it (not even highlighted in it's own button) that said to add it to collection. I didn't even realize that option was there and on mobile, it's barely noticeable or I would have been way more careful. I was really confused when I realized what happened and it's not something that is even showing as an option in the regular Plushie shop, so I'm not sure why it did in the Free Shop. Sorry you lost your item - I also started a ticket and was told it was not possible to get it back. I will be more careful from now on in the Free Shop.

(thank you to for my siggie)

I'm sure there is custom CSS to hide the button if you really wanted to avoid something like that.

having a confirmation when Im trying to mass add things to a collection would be really annoying and make the feature worse.

If adding a warning pop-up is not something people would want, then maybe some sort of opt-out option in the site preferences? Some sort of option to choose if you want the "add to X collection" buttons to show up when you purchase an item or not, so people who like it can keep it and people who find it troublesome could get rid of it.

Yeah I understand that not everyone wants a warning so maybe a toggle in the preference is a good idea.

I think first they need to add a bigger space between the 2 buttons, it's sufficient to click on the top of the "back to shop" button to trigger the "add to collection" button, I think they are on each other or something. this is how close they are:

can you do something about it please? :)

Yeah, I do agree it's probably a good idea to at least add some more space between the buttons so it's not as easy to misclick.

I would be fine if it was even just as simple as a much bigger space. On my iPhone using safari, it isn’t even a distinguishable button. It’s a line of text that’s barely even noticeable and I guess I clicked it even that instead of hitting to bring me back to the shop, it moved the plushie you my collection.

In my opinion a toggle option wouldn't be optional. People would either have to constantly risk a misclick or not have the option at all. I never went through this problem but this solution doesn't seem practical/fair.

Support for the warning.

it would be annoying, like it is when i'm going through my inventory and mass-adding stuff that way, but i'd rather a confirmation pop-up instead of a toggle. people completely forget about toggles; there's been stuff i've had set on sites that i completely forgot about, got frustrated when returning, and then ages later realized it was my own dumb fault.

so!! warning or a bigger space, deffo support!!

I don't support a warning, for me that would simply remove all functionality of the button.

A toggle, or even more simply, adding more space would both be fine options.

I support adding space between the buttons (and/or an option to hide the buttons) but not a confirmation. The inventory confirmations are bad enough

Definitely support adding a warning, especially because stuff that's added to collections are permanently added. D:

I honestly don't mind warnings for using items, even in my inventory and the like. I have a big list of pets and have custom CSS so that my gourmand and reader are highlighted, but misclicks still happen. I just keep one finger on "Enter" at the ready for when that warning pops up lol. I can see why it'd be annoying for users (especially laptop users) so a toggle would be excellent.
