Pet zapper bugged?

Not sure if it's just an annoying coincidence or a bug but I seem to be stuck in a rotation of my pet being zapped into the same experiment, then that experiment being turned a scribble version of itself and then it's treasure being increased by 1, rinse and repeat. I'm now on my 4th time of this happening and it's just rotating in the same order and only those 3 things...

I think this is just an annoying coincidence. It just rolls a random number when zapping, it doesn't look at what your history is at all. D:
