Hello, Whit! I'm not exactly "new" but I did just recently come back after a long down time lol! I'm also 27 and have three cats! (And a dog!) What are your cats names? :o

That sucks you're allergic. Are you allergic to all animals or just cats? And thanks for the links. That'll help me a lot. :)
Just cats as far as I know! So a dog isn't out of the question when I can provide a safe space and stability to have one c:

That's good you can get a dog! I have a friend that's allergic to all animals, but she still has a cat.
I think there are meds you can take to help manage the symptoms, but I'd personally rather not. I can understand people who do though!

Haha, I love that! I gather that cat is a sucker for attention then? That's cute! Those are all really nice names, I can almost picture them already! I have Casper, my quirky boy, Mimi, the momma's girl, and the newest one is Valentine, named because he LOVES being loved on LOL! My dog is Molly! My roommate has a cat and his name is Ghibli and he is a gremlin child : - )
On the topic of cat allergies, I heard that there's some new medication being made that's given as a shot TO CATS to make them non-allergenic! I think that's wild. There's not much I know about it other than the fact it's being tested, but wouldn't that be neat if it worked out?
