When I look at the holiday schedule, it says the New Year Celebration is the first week of January. However, on the News page, it shows on the sidebar on the right side that it's going to last until the 17th of January. Just hoping to clarify that this is just a typo and it's actually supposed to say the 7th of January?

New Years Tokens will stop going out on 11:59pm January 17.

Says so right in the news post on the first of January. :) The shop never closes so you can always buy items down the road if you want to save tokens.

They've had it be longer than 1 week before, I think last year it also went to like the 16th or so.

The schedule in the Subetapedia is just kind of an estimate of when we can expect the events to take place, but official information in news posts regarding the events and when they'll end takes precedence over whatever it says in the Subetapedia.

It's reasonable to wonder at two weeks, because of the really generous drop rate of New Year Tokens compared to New Year Shop prices. The prices are more in line with a one-week holiday.

I think last year the holiday was extended because of site downtime and attempts by staff to please everybody even though IMO as a currency speculator the NYT economy did not need to be tweaked. I have no idea why it was extended this year too, but it was indeed officially announced.

Maybe the Subetapedia article is the thing that should be reported as a Problem or Bug.

The subetapedia has been updated and since this is not a bug (it's been different every year) I am locking this up!
