i wasn't sure how to phrase this title, but i'm looking to do a bit of brainstorming for a pet i recently adopted and thought people here might be able to help!

the pet is an RA-002. it doesn't have a color (i.e. common), hence "glitch" pet. i'm not sure how it came to be, but i'd assume it was thrown into the rift sometime when it was first introduced to the site and staff forgot to give the RA pets the common color initially? i wasn't active at the time so i'm just taking a shot at what seems like a likely scenario. i know there have been other issues that have resulted in glitched pets before, and i'm sure there are more with this same specific problem and this is just my first time seeing/hearing of one, but i'm excited to have stumbled across it :3

anyway, without both a color and species the site can't retrieve the image for the Common RA-002, so there's just... nothing.

i've already made it genderless, and i'd also like to bring its stats down to 0/0. i already had a concept of a null/void/empty pet (i'm not sure how else to describe it, but i was going to make it an angelic pet and the character would have been some otherworldly nonphysical not quite entity but more the concept of Nothing? my ideas were kind of vague) and i'd planned for it to have stats at 0, so i've repurposed that idea for this pet. it's a shame that its past owner already read it books because i would've liked its intelligence at 0 as well.

QUESTION: on the subject, how do you reduce a pet's level to 0? i've heard that the shattered skull of power item will do it, but that it only takes 1-2 levels off, so i'm not sure i'd want to buy 4-7 of them considering expensive they are in the user shops. if there's no other way i'll probably still end up trying to save up and buy them eventually, since i really really would like its level to be 0, but i'd like to know if that's my only option before i commit to it.

other than that i'm also still thinking of a name, so if anyone has suggestions i'm open to them!! all my real word ideas so far have been taken already. i'd like leahan as a name if it were a regular pet/character i was working on, but i think i want something a bit more related to its concept for my non-entity pet.

ofc i'll take suggestions for its overall concept or treasure chest etc, but i think i also just need to put in some further thought myself as well. who knows, i may keep it super simple and not even have a TC. maybe turn it into a sort of error page? i'm leaning more towards something like that than a text/story section.

EDIT: i did end up making a quick little profile for it based on the 404 not found page for the A-002's image.

There are stat boosters like and that reduce level, but they are expensive

oh right i remember someone mentioning the zapper can do that! it'd probably be less expensive than level-reducing items, but since the zapper can change pet color/species as well it'd be pretty risky :/

thank you this is super helpful!! still expensive, but at least hydragellos essence is selling for less than a shattered skull of power and can reduce by 1-10 levels instead of just 1-2? it does boost other stats, but those are relatively easier to reduce with the leeches. at least it's another option

hmm, i may end up deciding just to readjust its stats to all be at an even 10, then bring its intl to 404. that would make things neater and less expensive. i can always keep this pet's concept as a glitch/error page while saving my... nothing-ness pet concept for something with more of a story.

As a battler, it kills me to see all those stats from the essence that would get leeched away (it's the equivalent of 5 tomes) BUT I am glad I could help :D

It is expensive, you could just get everything else to zero, or just hide stats from the pet profile so it looks like just an error page. You could probably even use that gif the staff use for items that don't have an image (you'd sure like to see an image here eh)

There are leeches... literally. They're available in the battle shop.

Strength, Speed and Endurance as well. They suck two points of that stat.

You could also kick the gym vending machine for free. (With a pair of shoes of course!) The only problem is it doesn't specifically target your main pet.
