It seems to me it would be a great benefit to be able to choose whether or not you want to include CWs when doing a shop search. Perhaps just a checkbox that gives us the choice to include them or not when we search.
Example: If I wanted to search for "rainbow" in the shop search for items to put in a gallery I might not want to include CWs in that search.
The shop search specifically seems like a really inefficient way to do that kind of search anyway? The item directory would be way more efficient and already doesn't contain CWs, or you could use Subetalodge with a rarity filter
I wouldn't be explicitly against a toggle for including CWs, but I don't really see it being as necessary on the shop search page specifically since IMO the shop search page isn't super useful for searching for anything but a specific item name
I agree with this is unnecessary.
If a toggle like this gets done it should be in Preferences so that it doesn't bug the rest of us who do want to see the CWs and force us to click an extra box each and every time.
i would support it being an option to exclude them
I feel like we shouldnt have to visit Subetalodge to look for items.
I have no interest in CWs. None. Never have, never will. If this filter existed, I would never turn it off.
I agree that if you're just browsing for items, the Shop Search is a very inefficient way to do it and the Item Directory or Subetalodge is much better. However, when I'm looking for a specific item on the Shop Search, and in the middle of typing the item I see the auto-correct (or whatever that's called) also bring up another item that sounds like it would be great for a pet's treasure, only to find out it's a CW when I investigate further - THAT gets annoying.
Maybe this would be something that could be under the user Options instead of on the Shop Search itself, so you don't have to check a box each time. I mean, honestly, I don't care that much if there's a filter or not; I'm just saying I personally wouldn't mind having the option for the reason I just described.
