I understand that ads are needed for site revenue. But they are getting worse for those of us who cannot afford GAs. A while back there was an issue with ads appearing 3 or more times on the page including in the middle of news posts but this is worse. While trying to collect from Melody I was nearly forced to click on a video ad that appeared on the screen and while typing up this post I've had 3 different videos pop up that I've had to close.

I cannot afford to keep a constant GA and I access everything from my kindle and can't install an adblocker. Some custom css which was staff approved was shared last time which 'fixed' the ads in the middle of news posts etc but it doesn't seem to work for these.

Please address the ads of this type so that the site can remain usable because needing to constantly close videos to even make a post (I think it's been 4 now besides the one I screencapped) makes things all but unusable for me.

I'm getting them on my GA account today. I'm pretty darn upset about it.

I'm using the approved adblocker css. Earlier I was seeing header ads and those video ads, and just now I got a full-page ad on mobile.

Edit: there's also weird extra white space at the very top of the page? Not sure if that's ad-related or not, but its slightly annoying.

Same - video ads while having gold account. What is going on?

Yeah, I'm seeing extra white space at the top and the sidebar bookmarks are being pushed down a bit farther than usual. I'm thinking this might be related to whatever is going on with the ads, because I haven't changed anything else on my end (no new CSS or ad blocking things on my end other than what I had before).

This just started this afternoon.

[edit]I'm not actually seeing the ads because of my ad blocker I'm guessing, but I am experiencing the weird things with the site layout.

Also noticed that the post headers are centered. The part at the top of my post that says # 5 Posted on: 12/16/19 etc. The different forum categories on the main forums page are also centered now when it wasn't like that before.

Edit again: the weird centering stuff is actually happening on other pages as well.

I have a GA and got these videos yesterday and today! I am so glad I found this because I thought I had a virus or spam and I've checked both my computer and phone and virus scan was clear. I'm using Chrome which has a built in add block and they are still appearing as well.

You might want to post on this thread, as well, as it's specifically about those of us with GA that are getting it.
