Does anyone else have a profile/account there? My username is the same as the one I use here, and I've got a couple of Xenogears and one Harry Potter story posted.
There's like... 11 or 13 Subeta stories there too. If I can think of a decent plot for a Subeta story it'd be posted there at some point, probably.

I'm jashykins on that site.
Currently on a Game of Thrones fanfic rut XD
I plan to delve into the Animorphs series again at some point.
Heeeeeey Animorphs! Oh god, I haven't thought of that series in a few years... lemme check... it looks like ALL of them are available as ebooks now. Huh. I remember the blog Cinnamon Bunzuh too, which recapped the books.
I didn't like Cassie much in the series proper, but she's better done in fanfic... probably because there's time to do her right, you know? As opposed to a book (or two, in the case of the Chronicles or the Megamorphs) a month.

My favorite character as a kid was Tobias and I still love him as an adult. Though not in the same way. He was my first fictional crush XD
As an adult I started to like Alloran. He isn't a pure character, but I really adore his character arc. I would've loved for his story post-war to have been covered in canon.
I'm impressed Applegate and Grant were able to get a book out a month and still have the series be legible.
I love Alloran too. Like when he tried to comfort Loren about her father in The Andalite Chronicles? <Then be quiet, fool. Those who have been to war understand. Those who have not have no opinion worth hearing,> He looked at Loren. <Even those who return from war may never really come home.>
OUCH. Right in the heart.
And yeah, it was impressive they got a book out a month and managed to be so... coherent. It wasn't a perfect series-but it was fun. And I think Alloran + Eva could bond a lot after the series, since they'd been hosts to high-ranking Yeerks and saw a lot of terrible things.

Alloran didn't keep his heart on his sleeve, but those few moments really showed he cared. And the fact one Andalite mentioned Alloran used to laugh and make jokes...oh how war changed him :'(
Alloran and Eva were also the hosts of Yeerks who had been in a power struggled with each other for so long. It would have been interesting to see them interact post-war.
I'm introvert on there. Don't really use it but I did post one original work of fiction on that site. It's nearly half a decade old though... xD
I just discovered A3O and I'm SO happy I did... I haven't published anything on there yet (feeling a bit scared to/want to generate a few more chapters' worth of material before posting anything) but the community seems so much more active than on fanfiction!!

That's fair, about wanting to have some material before posting... I've found it does help to be like, 3-5 chapters ahead if you're writing a multichapter fic. :) That way f you hit a block you still have some space to be posting regularly, etc.
Whenever you feel ready to post your first works, let us know, please. :)

If anyone's curious my account is armint ^^ I'll be checking out those mentioned here!!

Huh, blowing off some dust here. I'm on AO3 as well! Haven't posted in AGES there, though. Username over there is BlackBirdAolen. Should probably kick it back up a notch...
Oh man, thanks for this fantastic thread. I spent years on AO3, but deleted my account last year. I've been writing more and more recently and am hoping to create a new account and to upload a new story there though!
Hey, I'm on that site. :D My username is the same there as here too. I do Warriors (Erin Hunter) stories and Skyrim stories myself. Feel free to check them out! I'll check yours out too.

I love AO3!
I write there under Proudmoore, and it's almost exclusively Star Trek, with a little bit of MCU thrown in for fun, as well as the odd drabble/ficlet for other fandoms.
It's such a great site. Makes it so easy to find exactly the kinds of stories I'm looking to read!
I write King of the Hill fanfiction lol, pretty niche.

I need to get back on AO3! I've never written for it but goodness gracious, the TALENT on that site!
I haven't let myself get sucked in for a long while, but Sterek, Johnlock, Mystrade (I still don't know why, they're in the same room for all of five seconds), and probably some others I'm forgetting. Those were the big three :P You?
I tend to not read fanfictions besides oneshots most of the time. There have been exceptions.
Reading...Game of Thrones mostly. My main ship in the series is small so I end up looking up other random ships. Found some interesting ones like a spicy Jon/Cersei/Sansa fic XD
Writing I'm in a Game of Thrones rut but at least in my drabbles I expand into other fandoms XD
And for ships...I have too many ships. Way too many to fit into any one fic xD
