Forgive me if this is the wrong forum. I have... quite a few questions. I joined here after making customs over on PetAdoptables and want to make some here, but need some clarification first.

[ol]

  • I see we're not meant to make replacements for things like eyes. Are items like allowed because they are makeup as well? And is there a base eye reference used to make sure the shape and size is correct for things like eyeshadow?
  • What does it mean by "1,000 CSC / 5 items" when choosing a type? Does it cost CSC to submit a CW? And what does the number of items mean?
  • Sort of a continuation of the last question, can we set the price of our items? I see a lot of other shops selling things for 525CSC, 450CSC. 375CSC, I'm wondering if items have a set price or if we can set them?
  • Most importantly: Everything to do with batches and slots and release number and stuff confuses me more than anything. Can someone dumb it all down for me?

1, No, but if you leave the eye part blank it’s acceptable, as long as you can’t mistake it as eyes it will pass.

2, yeah it cost csc to submit. We have two options to submit it, one is to buy ur creation with ur own csc and sell the items later( so for example you pay 1000 and you’ll get 5 copies of your creation, you can then sell them for a higher price to earn more than 1000). Another is to let ppl slot on the not yet existing item, in this case you will need to set a price for the item. The sum for 5 items need to be equal to or exceed the default subeta batch price( as shown on the create cw page), the part that exceed the batch price will belong to you when the item got approved, and the items will go to the inventory of whoever slotted.

3, Yes you can set your own price.

4, batch numbers depends on your personal preference( how many items do you want on site), if you prefer it to be only yours, you can create only one batch and store the rest in the vault etc.

In addition to what stated, depending on the end item size itself, prices can vary. Smaller items like glasses or eye makeup tend to cost less while you'll get hit with full price for things like a background. Best to research and find out what works best in your case. (Disclaimer: or it did when I was still making CWs.)

Also, if you commission someone to do the CW for you, the go to method is CSC + copy of finished item typically.
