Could the Mysterious Melody link be moved lower in the 'Check Out' section on the front page? Right now it's above the link to Melody's Cottage, while the Cottage itself is almost at the bottom of the section. I think Melody's Cottage is the 'main attraction' of the holiday, and having Mysterious Melody placed before it on the front page seems like it's going to raise the chances of people accidentally joining Mysterious Melody in their haste to get the day's gifts.

I am all for this if there is a chance that people are actually doing this because I am tired of being partnered with people who do not participate in MM.

I remember seeing people talk here and there during previous years about accidentally joining MM while trying to get their daily gift and then not participating in it because they were busy or felt bad about clicking it by mistake. I hope you'll get active partners this year!

I agree with this Suggestion. MM people get all bent out of shape with folks who don't give back and this would eliminate a source of this by making it less likely to make this slip of the click.

I know people use the "It's better to give than to receive!" argument when MM people are upset about getting an inactive partner, but I don't think it's unreasonable to be upset about it. If someone wanted to just give away items, there's the Donation Corner that's seen plenty of activity this Luminaire, but Mysterious Melody is there to swap presents with your partner. It's not fun to feel like you're tossing presents at a brick wall when you get partnered with someone who didn't even mean to join it in the first place.

Rather than restructure the list, I think an easier/more logical request would be to rename the links so that Melody’s Cottage is alphabetically before MM. Like “Go Visit MC” and “Participate in MM”.

I'm not against the idea, but I'm indifferent.

I use the Melody widget on my dashboard and that both provides a reminder and doesn't allow for misclicks or misreading. Its also something that everyone can do without waiting on staff to take up this suggestion or not.

For real tho, I'd definitely rather see Melody's Cottage on the top cause I'm that person that will forget if it's not right in front of me. Scrolling down through the list has been an annoyance, especially when I'm rushing and click on MM instead of MC.

I like this suggestion. I constantly read about users clicking it by mistake, so anything that can be done to differentiate Mysterious Melody from Melody's Cottage and make it 100% obvious what it is to prevent disappointing ghost MMs would be amazing.
